When you think about it the deal is a perfect example of human trafficking. You can bet that the people from Central America won't be eager to get shipped off half way around the world like they are just cattle without a say in the matter. Australia has rather a good record of heading of terrorist attacks at present, Australia has processed these people and decided that they are refugees be it economic and fleeing for their life. Since it is a swap for those who America does not want and is subject to individual approval after vetting one would consider the only way a terrorist could slip through is if there is a failure in the vetting process.

Seriously, do you really think your own agencies are that great of a failure in this area??? Then I would suggest it is not the deal you should worry about but the incompetence of your agencies…

So why did Australia have these particular Muslims quarantined on an island and not admit them to fair, tolerant Australia?

Nah we've had some pretty bloody awful policies on refugees by boats since a former PM tapped into our xenophobia to win an election. But the alliance isn't under threat from us, we're a bit stunned - but a good wake-up call - that Trump would treat us like (*)(*)(*)(*).
