Uh, how does that sentence sound.....absolutely ga-ga You still can't prove your claim or you would have done so ... Please PROVE another of your bombastic claims that "everyone else did""..... one more thing in a long line of claims you can't back up....your "psychic ability" has failed you once again...
YUP, isn't it GREAT! The so and so's haven't taken away women's rights! But that is their goal so watch 'em!!!
The OP doesn't appear to understand the federal law he is relying upon. Specifically, 18 USC § 1841(c) provides: "(c) Nothing in this section shall be construed to permit the prosecution (1) of any person for conduct relating to an abortion for which the consent of the pregnant woman, or a person authorized by law to act on her behalf, has been obtained or for which such consent is implied by law; (2) of any person for any medical treatment of the pregnant woman or her unborn child; or (3) of any woman with respect to her unborn child." Put simply, abortion is an exception to the statute.
The glaring fallacy of the OP is that the UVVA specifically EXCLUDES abortion from the statute thereby establishing that abortion is NOT homicide.
UVVA was a joke whose only real purpose was to attempt a bridge towards full fetal personhood challenges in court. The act itself does absolutely nothing to further personhood since all it does is tack on an extra penalty when a pregnant woman's fetus gets injured or lost during the commission of a crime. It changes absolutely nothing about a woman's control over her own body and leaves a fetus as no more of a person than it was prior to the act. It still works the same as it always has. You don't get an extra criminal charge because you hurt an extra person, you get charged extra because there is now an extra statute you can charge someone with for violating the woman's rights over her body. It's the same way it works with your car. When someone damages your car, you can press charges but when you do so, it's not because your car's rights have been violated. It's because yours have. No difference here. The fetus is part of the mother and you can get additional penalties for hurting it. But this law doesn't make a fetus any more of a person than my car is. Personhood comes with birth, as it always has, both officially and informally. Only recently have folks decided they want to give rights to the biological processes occurring inside a woman's body. This madness will pass eventually.
The fallacy is actually in your failure to comprehend that homnicide is not purely a legal term. Homicide means killing a human being whether legal or not. Now on to the logical problem YOU have. If an entity is killed by one person and is considered a human being, that same entity when killed by anyone else is logically a human being as well. The killer's identity has nothing to do with the victim's status as a human being.
Then kill away. Flush them down. End that life. You like to get all worked up in the semantics. I find that to be hilarious since IT DOES NOT CHANGE A THING. Call it a homicide of children that is a genocide if you want and it will not change a single thing. Abortion is legal and that will continue. And you will never like it....we get it already. But you better get used to it......it is not going away.
Every dime wasted on the fight against abortion could have been spent on feeding hungry children. Every dime wasted on the fight against abortion could have been spent buying mosquito nets and clean drinking water for children already born. Anti-abortion people need to get their priorities straight. Save the children who are born and living - not those who MIGHT make it past the zygote stage. And given that millions of fertilized eggs never reach maturity, it's a more productive way to "protect the children". I send my money to Doctors without Borders - and have probably saved more children than the majority of anti-abortionists.
The question presented if your synopsis is accurate would be why are so many murderers getting away with it?
The unfortunate reality in all this would be that those adamantly against abortion couldn't care less what happens once a child is born.
Sorry but just because Conservatives can get laws passed doesn't actually prove a fact. Nice try though.
So by your " logic" if an entity is killed by one person and is not considered a human being that same entity when killed by anyone else is logically not a human being as well. Let's actually try thinking next time.
lol, you don't use to the law of all things to bolster an argument about how things should be... in a best case scenario, laws are based upon reality, but they cannot be assumed to be so, or else the fact that Roe v. Wade fell against you would invalidate your argument anyway. Abortions should not be viewed as homicides because an early fetus has no mind and is incapable of the slightest flicker of consciousness or pain. Not a person at all. Deserves ZERO protection.
