Gun deaths is similiar to auto deaths. There are many reasons for auto death such as drinking, inattention, lack of sleep, faulty equipment....etc. There are many reasons for gun deaths. If you die at the hand of a gun then gun control may have prevented that death
If a group of thugs break into your house, gun control may have caused your death over the welfare of some criminals. Well done.
First off, guns don't have hands. Second of all, no gun ever killed anyone without a person holding it. And there are innocent people who have died because of gun control.
Appropriate gun control will allow gun ownership by the law abiding, sane and well trained. If you are not one of them you should not have a gun anyway
My family has done just fine with no formal training other than when I was in the military. There are many things that people shouldn't do. We don't need government intervention for them all.
I taught my kids well. I wouldn't dream of handing a 5 year old a gun and tell him to figure it out. I don't need a government nanny. People have common sense and those who don't had better learn.
Yeah. The same for medicine But they might. And every sane, law abiding and well trained person would still be able to get a gun so there would be no harm
Seeing as how there are plenty of examples of people who lost their lives because of gun control laws, I do indeed disagree, and fundamentally. Gun control has no place in a society based in political liberty and personal freedom.
And yet today in the United States gun control prevents law-abiding people from getting guns and people have died because of it. Plain and simple that is UNACCEPTABLE.
Seeing as how there are plenty of people that have lost their lives due to lax gun laws I disagree with you. Gun control and liberty can achieve a balance
The people did not lose their lives because of "lax gun control". Most lost their lives due to failing to take responsibility for their own security. Gun control and liberty are incompatible. Period.
No many lost their lives because of lax gun control laws. Those deaths would not have happened in japan
If there are so many then you can find documented instances of people dying specifically because of "lax gun laws". Trust me, I'll find infinitely more examples of people surviving criminal assault because of firearms than you can find of people dying because of a lack of gun control.
In reality, I should put him on ignore... but someone needs to be able to rebut him so that people on the fence can't be swayed by his commentary.
