The WH confirmed the essential story but said he wasn't condoning murder. He was just relating this to the drug problem in the US.

He congratulated Duterte on the great job he's doing.

Maybe they have drug dealer friends and family in the Philippines. Or maybe dredging up this old story from Nov 2016 is their way of trying to drown out their utter failure to prove Russian collusion... except with the Democrats.

Trump didn't say that it is born of the left's imagination. Nor do I agree with it. Although if the situation were bad enough I MIGHT be sympathetic to it, vigilantism is almost always problematic. But I see it in non-hysterical terms and object to it without a great deal of emotional reasoning. I see so much emotional reasoning, all or nothing thinking and projection on the left, I fail to even comprehend the mindset. You and many like you just project your irrational fears onto the 'right' without thought you're talking to other human beings.

Mr Duterte told troops at a military camp they were allowed to rape up to three women in an attempt to “lift spirits” after imposing martial law across the southern Philippines.


"I will be imprisoned for you. If you rape three (women), I will say that I did it. But if you marry four, son of a whore you will be beaten up," he said on Friday.

Mr Duterte, who uses profanities regularly, also attracted controversy last year when during an election campaign speech he joked that he had wanted to rape a "beautiful" Australian missionary who had been murdered in a Philippine prison riot.

The Drug dealers for the most part were Muslim Terrorists, the Moros, it is war. The situation is far more complex than the article indicates.

 

President Trump will never be politically correct and you guys on the left aren't going to be able to impeach him over it so why do you keep flipping out about the dumb things he says?

You can spend the next four years building a strong political message that appeals to a lot of Americans. Then you could find an awesome person to deliver that message and then win the next election.
