Can't argue too much with you about that, although the Democrats live off of it. If the democrats would quit feeding the monster, everyday people would just go on about their lives. Whatever real racism is out there would get called out and dealt with, rather than just being seen as another made-up political smear tactic. People gotta stop letting themselves be led by the nose into seeing racism under every rock. That is, by far, the bigger problem.
Republicans do also, just listen to rightwing talk shows. If the racism would stop they wouldn't have anything to feed off of. That's just it, if you listen to the right there is no racism and there could be nothing further from the truth. That's easy to say when you are not the victim of it.
I don't know which shows you are talking about. I don't here it ( other than when they play qoutes of leftists smearing righties). I wonder if your own preconceptions cause you to see racism where it doesn't exist. Chicken or egg theory? I'm not sure if your use of the word "you" is meant literally or figuratively. If literal, it's an abject fraud.
By all means show me where it doesn't exist. The racism has been here since the first slave got off the boat. Is it.
In the Trayvon Martin shooting. The Michael Brown shooting. In the reaction of the Evergreen biology professors refusal to participate in the no whites day. Pretty much everywhere the left has alleged it to exist.
I'm sure some racism still exists but even here in the south I don't see it. I think if we're honest, the racism of the past is gone, thank god. You have a full generation now that not only didn't support it doesn't even understand why it ever happened. The left uses racism as a pawn often and reverse racism is every bit as bad as racism today, yet it's not even considered an issue by the left. Unfortunately, like everything else politicians use racism as a money grab which is disgusting. I have several close friends and colleagues that are African American and they are most definitely more worried about the innercity black on black crime than racism. Several of them are Republicans solely because of how the left uses African Americans as pawns solely for donations, they despise liberal race baiting politicians.
"By all means show me where it doesn't exist." Funny "The racism has been here since the first slave got off the boat." Fair enough. It is, however, being perpetuated by the race hatred industry (which includes the Democrat party). They're probably mostly decent enough, non-racist people themselves. They just won't stop feeding their cash cow until it costs them more than they gain. "Is it." It's poor behavior to call someone you don't know, or know what their life experiences are, a liar when they reference their experiences. A person might even call such behavior 'bigoted'.
Here's more: http://hotair.com/archives/2017/07/...ring-sue-evergreen-state-college-3-8-million/ Bret Weinstein Is Preparing To Sue Evergreen State College For $3.8 Million JOHN SEXTONPosted at 3:01 pm on July 25, 2017 SHARE ON FACEBOOK SHARE ON TWITTER 29 Campus Reform reports that Professor Bret Weinstein and his wife, also a professor, are preparing a $3.8 million dollar lawsuit against Evergreen State College for creating a racially hostile work environment: SEE ALSO: McCain’s floor speech: We’re getting nothing done and the bombastic loudmouths on TV and radio aren’t helping In an email to Campus Reform, Weinstein’s attorney underscored that the $3.8 million is a total claimed on behalf of both professors collectively “for the hostile work environment that has been fostered at the college over the past year or so.” He also noted that there is “no current litigation” at this point, since a tort claim must be filed “at least 60 days prior to initiating legal action” in the state of Washington… The factual narrative submitted alongside the tort claim argues that Evergreen State “has permitted, cultivated, and perpetuated a racially hostile and retaliatory work environment,” asserting that “Through a series of decisions made at the highest levels, including to officially support a day of racial segregation, the College has refused to protect its employees from repeated provocative and corrosive verbal and written hostility based on race, as well as threats of physical violence.” Campus Reform has published a portion of the “factual narrative” associated with the tort. It covers ground which people familiar with this situation will have heard about. For instance, the Day of Absence where white people were encouraged to leave campus as a sign of solidarity with minorities. Here’s a sample of the narrative: More than ninety faculty members and staff submitted their letter to the Board of Trustees demanding an investigation into Professor Weinstein. Around this time, Professor Weinstein discovered that someone had set up a fake Facebook account in his name that showed photographs of a handgun, and made false and provocative statements about him being “tired” of TESC students. If you haven’t followed this story before now, I’d recommend starting with the Vice News video below. If you’ve seen that already (Allahpundit wrote about it here), the next step would be Weinstein’s interview with Joe Rogan. The Rogan interview is two and a half hours long but I transcribed some of the highlights here. Also worth a look: The initial confrontation outside Weinstein’s classroom that went viral. Professor Weinstein’s sin? He appeared on Fox News. Evergreen student McKenzie Kyger and Professor Bret Weinstein give statements to the Board of Trustees (along with a statement from a professor who supported the protests) Interview with Evergreen student McKenzie Kyger in which she describes being told she couldn’t speak at a campus meeting because she was white. Another Evergreen student describes being called a “Nazi” because she defended Professor Weinstein.
Keep up the good work social justice loons, you're singal handedly killing cultural Marxism with your own insanity, better than any right wing politician, or talking head ever could. I love it!!
Part of the settlement should be that the wussy president should step down without pay, never to be in that position again.
No it isn't. I'm not white, and neither is my black-a$$ed husband, but we both agree with these posts generally. There is no institutional racism any more, not in the west in 2017. If there was, POCs wouldn't now be topping the socio-economic charts in America.
agree. they're the ones keeping us (POCs) down. give me a colourblind 'racist' any day. they measure the work of my hands, not my skin tone.
If that is the case then how do you tell folks about their experiences with racism, that is how we know racism is alive inspite of folks telling us it doesn't exist anymore.
Where do you hide YOUR racism? Are you sure it wasn't caused by your bad attitude? Racism prevents equal rights and freedoms. All people in this country, including you, are free to seek higher education, work a high-paying job, buy a home in the neighborhood of their choice. No one is stopping them. Look around you, and you'll see that Equal Opportunity Laws have created a climate where both businesses and colleges bend over backward to provide "special" priveleges to minorities. In many cities, and especially throughout government, you will see a majority of good jobs occupied by "minorities". So, I agree with the comment that institutional racism is dead in this country. But that completely takes the wind out of Progressive propaganda, doesn't it? Did you get called a name? Sure, and so did that ugly person, and the handicapped person, the fat person, the old person. You can't seriously think that meaness will ever go away. People have always been small minded and mean and always will be. Meaness is a symptom of intellectual inferiority.
Its amazing how the folks who have been on the receiving side of racism are always the ones blamed for it. If that is the case then why do black folks have the highest unemployment rates, the highest drop out rates, the highest incarceration rates if we are provided with all these special privileges. The Justice System is a perfect example of institutional racism and proves it is alive and well. Been called plenty of them. Yea so that justifies it. So now racism in America has been reduced to "Meaness". Unbelievable.
When the pendulum swings and these people realise they've been indoctrinated there might actually be FDR style concentration camps.
Would be best to say to them all "STOP IT RIGHT NOW! YOU ARE CREATING SOCIAL UNREST THAT WILL LITERALLY NEVER GO AWAY! NO MORE SLAVES FROM AFRICA!'" In all caps just like that, yup
I would totally love to get in a fist fight with Andrew Jackson That honestly may be my answer to the Fight Club question of "what guy in any time in history would you like to fight" I bet Andy threw a mean hook....
Nothing about being on the receiving end of anything bad exonerates the receiver from committing the same crime. Look at child abuse: most abusers were abused as children. It is understandable that many on the receiving end of racism are also racists - really angry racists. Don't blame the results of historical trauma on racism. Bad thinking begets failure and more bad thinking. White trash folks never get ahead either - the bad thinking plagues families through generations. So pointing out blacks who are generationally failing only reinforces the fact they haven't figured out how to break the mold. Blacks who succeed - and there are many of them, have figured it out. Want to look at data? Let me ask you this: what does it mean that data shows Asian families have the greatest success - far and away over whites and hispanics and blacks - in keeping their babies alive and healthy. Is that racist? or is that cultural?
Really, what racism are black folks injecting on white folks in America. Does any of that really make any sense to you, because it definitely doesn't make any sense too me.
