What we REALLY need is the option for the OP to exclude selected members from posting under a topic.

For people from outside the USA there is a huge problem in understanding why otherwise apparently quite normal people believe as an article of faith in chucking around bang-bangs like confetti, creating a state in which murder-by-gun is normal. Apparently it is to keep George 111 out, but seems really to have grown out of the urge to murder black people who objected to being enslaved and exploited . Weird! For every gun in the US used to commit a murder yesterday, 16,000,000 were not.
Otherwise normal people realize this fact does not in any way support an argument for gun control.
