This complete post from Taxonomy26 "http://www.snopes.com/climatology-fraud-global-warming/" was nice to have and had made me note one startling comment in the Snopes article.

Just how miserable, fraudulent, and BS must be this "study" if even though the rabid Right Wing organization the "Cato Institute" won't place it even though one of the "study" authors is an adjunct at Cato!

This pile of manure of a "study" assuredly stink to high heaven even without reading any of its gibberish!

    What a FAIL!

They already have the proof. If you want to prove that what ever mankind does to the environment, and it has no effect, then you need to do your own work.

Once again you twist my words.

BTW, I haven't forgotten you complained to the mods, when I called you uneducated about ConEd.

Then, given your reservations, any accredited research facility would be happy to review the methodology and attempt to recreate the results, right? So, we can wait.... Let's see who picks up the research to either validate or not.

The truth is that I doubt any will. As once the methodology is reviewed, so will the data, and of course, the faithful can't have that....:roflol:

Please tell me you don't really believe that.
That makes no sense at all.

It's not science when you screw with the data in such a significant manner. It is clear that they are sculpting the data to fit their premise.

It's the only way they keep their jobs and the billions in Government grants.

The oil companies aren't trying to scare people away from green energy sources with useless predictions of doom and gloom while flying all over the world in their private Gulfstreams.

IN Al Gore’s latest cinematic dose of climate scaremongering, a young Asian man is crying.

“I feel so scared” he wails, before vision of solicitous uncle Al patting his hand in an attempt to soothe away his fears of the apocalypse.

Scaremongering is what Gore does best, and fear is the business model that has made him rich, though his every apocalyptic scenario has failed to materialise.
Any normal person with such a woeful record of accuracy as Gore would be ashamed to show his face. Eleven years after his Inconvenient Truth movie scared little kids witless, his warnings of climate armageddon have come to nothing.
“Unless we take drastic measures the world would reach a point of no return within 10 years,” he told us then. Wrong. In fact the world has just been through almost 20 years in which there has been a hiatus in global warming, even as carbon dioxide has increased: an “inconvenient pause” as some wags put it.

That is the reason they destroyed data under a FOIA order instead of turning it over.

As far as scientific interest goes, global warming, and the underlying physical processes at play are old hat. The scientifically interesting part is the lengths those denying fossil fuel burning caused global warming will go to purpetrate their fraudulent evidence.

Scientists have been studying the phenomenon for 120 years while the hoax claims originated in right-wing think tanks 20 years ago. I find it interesting that a portion of the population is so willingly influenced so as to deny the world around them. Even more interesting is that, follow the paper trail, the denial crowd began as a purely political group yet claim that it is somehow the scientists who have a political agenda and the political hucksters, somehow have all the scientific answers.

This is the reason innovators always tend to lean liberal. They don't fill their brains full of circle jerk silliness that leads nowhere, as the right-wing does.

As always, deniers have no evidence, facts, let alone dignity.

He is the fake preacher of the Global Warming Death Cult. A carbon pig who seems only able to lecture others while he preens with self-righteousness. The American Electorate sees right through him. Just like they see right through this guy:

    Rationalization, what can't it do?

Curt von Badinski, a mechanical engineer and co-founder of a San Francisco-based tech company, has a six-hour daily commute from Los Angeles – most of it by plane.
    ........
And, while von Badinski is aware that his flight comes with a significant carbon footprint, the Bay Area leg of his journey is more environmentally friendly. He keeps a plug-in hybrid vehicle at Oakland airport for the drive into San Francisco.

    Isn't that special?

    Hahaha!

These ecolytes are accepting this news exactly like someone who has religious belief accepts challenges to them.

Without quibbling with you on the core inaccuracy of that statement (there is no need for the two to be in conflict)...

    Exactly.

And you guys are reacting as the latter.

What joke. You have to be extremely naive to accept lies and value the "predictions" of Fat Al Gore, the crooked preacher of the Carbon Death Cult, and the world's first carbon billionaire!
