You've never met me. I could easily step into a 1941 Nazi recruiting poster. Blond hair, blue eyes, even half German with a German last name.
Okay, what you are basically saying is that antisemitism doesn't exist because YOU have never heard of it? Good grief. Lol.
I'm saying I don't agree that it's suddenly on the rise since Trump entered politics. It's where it has always been, in the shadows and ignored. Just like it should be.
Well, we can agree about that, but it certainly does exist, and there are extremist groups who worship Nazis. Ignoring them is the best way to deal with them. They WANT attention. I think most of these types of people are probably social rejects who feel they don't really fit in anywhere, so they might get into this Nazi/white supremacy crap but are actually harmless and if confronted, they wouldn't actually do anything at all.
There was a poster here that I really liked. We had a lot in common when it came to politics and music, but then he started posting the Nazi stuff. I was very disappointed and kind of sad that he was a white supremacist type of person. He seemed really cool aside from that aspect of his personality.
Yeah, I hear you. Stopped engaging with a couple posters recently over the same crap. ZERO tolerance for it myself.
Yeah, he was one of those "the holocaust didn't really happen" people or "it wasn't as BAD as they say. They didn't kill 6 million, only 2 million" Whatever. Unless there is some new evidence produced, I will go with the official story of 6 million Jews killed in the holocaust. There are mountains of evidence to support the holocaust. Pictures, bodies, identifications, paper trails, first hand accounts, and all sorts of things. The Nazis even admitted to what they did.
And that includes Jews, too. Whether you're sorry or not doesn't mean anything; I don't hate Jews or or anybody else for their pasts, any more than I do 'Confederates' or any other thing about the historical record; it means about as much as hating the Hittites. They're all dead, so get over it. This quote pretty much sums up my approach to history. And here is what bothers me so much about modern "scholarship." At what point did history become ethics? Why should we subvert the elusive search for facts to moralist concerns? So what if they are on or off the hook? If you want to be a preacher, go preach. If you want to save the world, go into politics. If you want to invent a world free of evil, take Prozac. It was said in Ecclesiastes and it still is true today, people suck. They did then, all of them. They do now, all of us. History is the history of self-interested, competing, aggressive, selfish, murderous humans. At what point did it become a morality play? -Dave WIlliams, George Mason Univ. It's obvious that the Prozac option is the best one for most Snowflakes these days. They should stay away from existential reality as much as possible, which makes the other two options unavailable to them.
In Malaysia and other Asian Muslim states they suffer from state harassment and abuse; Indonesia has been conducting genocides against entire villages of Christian Chinese and indigenous animists, for instance. True, they don't tend to express open contempt to others nearly as obvious, so you're generally probably right, they deal with it more practically.
Do you feel guilty about Hitler? If so, why? Did you help him kill them? How about the other 30 million or so people killed? Have anything to do with killing them, too?
Guilty? Not at all. I think it was a horrible atrocity. Imagine the awful things they did, like throwing little babies into fires and ovens. I cannot even understand the mindset that it takes to do something like that. Also, the horrible medical experiments they performed on their victims. They were like a country of psychotic serial killers.

RE: Why do so many people hate the Jews? ※→ ChrisL, Strasser, et al, While the actions of the general German population (1933 ≈⇒ 1944) were the end result of the gradual pressures and consequence from The Treaty of Versailles (1918 ) and the economic factors that was amplified over that time → that period also set the conditions for sociopaths to invisibly integrate more closely with the more mentally balanced portion of the general population. But, the latent and unattended influence of the sociopaths that was not the main cause for the magnitude of the monsters that grow out of the mentally disturbed. What appears to have happened --- that overcame and seized the general German population intrapsychic (biopsychosocial) factors of Adolph Hitler's personality and how it focused on the religiously targeted group for legally sanctioned violence that followed. (COMMENT - One Man's Opinion) Historically, the Jewish Community had, for many centuries, been the subject of semi-periodic mass targeting and persecution (quasi-genocidal) by the power that be in that time. It was often motivated by the lucrative asset confiscation and to open a vent for the population to focus its anger. This targeting triggered a herd mentality (similar to mob mentality) followed by a shared psychotic disorder; occurring at a group level and gradually growing in size and influence --- that was dominated by sociopaths in power. This resembles impaired cognitive abilities, almost appearing to suggest that the general German population was experiencing an extended episode of a loss in contact with reality. It is in this cult-like state that the general German population was able to embrace, in a disturbed state of mind, the mastery of atrocities associated with the holocaust. [Example: While Dr Josef Mengele PhD, SS Physician, Auschwitz (The Sociopath with no remorse), is the much more infamous, Mengele could not have done as much as he did without the facilitation of Dr Eduard Wirths, SS Captain and Chief Medical Officer, Auschwitz (Psychopath with the abnormal tendency for violent behavior).] Most Respectfully, R
A note on the Holocaust: Most german citizens didn't know anything about the full horror of Hitler's "final solution." Link
RE: Why do so many people hate the Jews? ※→ Passacaglia, et al, Make NO mistake. Such facilities simply do not operate in a vacuum; invisible to the civilians. (COMMENT) Operations using that many resources, that many people involved, that many facilities which were not particularly discrete, cannot be hidden very long. People know... They just did not want to voice objections. They were the tail to a vicious dog. Most Respectfully, R
do you actually have any clue what your god meant when he named them "chosen"? Most jew haters are rather ignorant of facts.
It seems to go back to Christianity. For the Jews had something to do with the murder of Christ. Yet there is an incoherence here. Most Christians believe the death of Christ, is what allows them to go to heaven, for his magic blood somehow saves humanity. If not for his death, people would go to hell, with no way to be forgiven of sin. But instead of being grateful to Jews for their salvation, Christians despised them, hated them. I think this is the origen of this hatred. During the times of the plague which devastated the population of Europe, the jews were blamed, and no doubt the murderers of Christ were blamed for many things. And of course some Jews have been successful in business, and were easy targets, the murderers of Christ having some money as others went hungry. Yet the number of dirt poor starving jews always vastly outnumbered the wealthy jews, but a long hatred kills any rationality. So the jews, going back to the killing of Christ have been the archetypal scape goat. Says more about the non jews than the jews. And the base side, the irrational side of human nature.
Given the history in the Old Testament, I assume God was just being sarcastic, and some Jews at the time took it at face value he meant they were being complimented, and didn't really get irony in the early days; that came later on.
