What is clear is that you do not understand history, American and regional to boot. Why are you defending "democrat statues" if you are really a Republican?

Our country's history, good and bad, belongs to all of us.

Memorials try to recognize and focus on the good aspects of history--human qualities of heroism and courage, etc. It is a mistake to destroy them. We need those memories.

They should not be destroyed, if at all possible, but should not be on the public square.

If they are public memorials, of course they should be on display where the public can view them.

[QUOTE
]A day after the brawling and racist brutality and deaths in Virginia, Governor Terry McAuliffe asked, “How did we get to this place?” The more relevant question after Charlottesville—and other deadly episodes in Ferguson, Charleston, Dallas, St. Paul, Baltimore, Baton Rouge, and Alexandria—is where the United States is headed. How fragile is the Union, our republic, and a country that has long been considered the world’s most stable democracy? The dangers are now bigger than the collective episodes of violence. “The radical right was more successful in entering the political mainstream last year than in half a century,” the Southern Poverty Law Center reported in February. The organization documents more than nine hundred active (and growing) hate groups in the United States.

America’s stability is increasingly an undercurrent in political discourse. Earlier this year, I began a conversation with Keith Mines about America’s turmoil. Mines has spent his career—in the U.S. Army Special Forces, the United Nations, and now the State Department—navigating civil wars in other countries, including Afghanistan, Colombia, El Salvador, Iraq, Somalia, and Sudan. He returned to Washington after sixteen years to find conditions that he had seen nurture conflict abroad now visible at home. It haunts him. In March, Mines was one of several national-security experts whom Foreign Policy asked to evaluate the risks of a second civil war—with percentages. Mines concluded that the United States faces a sixty-per-cent chance of civil war over the next ten to fifteen years. Other experts’ predictions ranged from five per cent to ninety-five per cent. The sobering consensus was thirty-five per cent. And that was five months before Charlottesville.

“We keep saying, ‘It can’t happen here,’ but then, holy smokes, it can,”....
http://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/is-america-headed-for-a-new-kind-of-civil-war

The blood has already been spilled, life is cut short. The parties receive their first sacral sacrifices, their first heroes. Mutual accounts and claims are growing.
The formal reason for the clashes (I hope everyone remembers the difference between the reason and the occasion for the school course of history) was the attempt of the federal authorities to demolish the monument to General Lee.

This monument stood for more than a hundred years, did not bother anyone. But recently, the Feds began to view the symbols of the southerners as "a threat to territorial integrity." If your authority is threatened by a monument to a long-dead general of the losing side, then your authority is a colossus on clay feet.

The real reason for the clashes clearly describes the slogan put forward by the protesters - "White life matters". The Anglo-Saxon majority was fed up with negative discrimination, fed up with the fact that Negroes and Latinoes, gays and lesbians, feminists, invalids and "alternatively gifted" have numerous privileges over the actually oppressed white majority.

In addition, about 47% of Americans surveyed believe that Christianity in the US is an oppressed and persecuted religion.

Accordingly, we have the lines of schism in American society:
- Geographical (south against the north);
- Historical (confederates against the feds);
- racial (white versus "color");
- religious;
- ideological (conservatives against liberals); - and there also try to and gender factor.

For most civil wars in the history of mankind, any of the above factors was quite sufficient. And, most importantly, the current conflict in the US has economic.

Mutual accounts and claims are growing, the abyss and hatred are expanding. And behind the backs of the street fighters loomed the ghosts of General Lee and the "liberator of other people's slaves" (their not liberated) Abraham Lincoln.

The federal authorities are too busy with the struggle for power and foreign political games, demonstrating complete inadequacy. The expression "civil war" is increasingly heard on the air of American media.

What do you think about it?

[IMG]
You know... not to make light on the subject of harming other human beings but what would occur if all of these notions and ideas of revolt and war do come true??? Not only with the suggested 'civil war' but with International War(s) as well?

I mean think about it... If Local Law enforcers aren't doing their jobs according to their job duties but are doing their jobs as they see fit and how they see fit in doing their jobs, and if Leaders of Nations do their jobs based on their own ideas of how to do their jobs rather than following the set guidelines, how will anyone have any form of Established Defense?

And if the barriers which keep the Countries which have Nuclear Weapons from implementing Nuclear attacks are taken down then what would prevent them from jumping in on the wave of self determination?

Supposedly you have innocent persons in The U.K attacked every so often with acid attacks, there are gun attacks, there are bomb attacks... And yet nothing is being done about them. I'm sure things are trying to be done, but among all of this, there are still naked sun bathers bathing in Public, there are still persons showing contempt towards others, there are still feuds between Establishments and Privacies. There are still mockeries and antagonisms. There are still deliberate provocations... Nothing is being done except in joining in on all of the madness.

Mental Illnesses are being acted upon.. People are being stupid for no reason. Reasoning is flying out of minds. Care and Concern is flying out of lives. Independent rights to commit crime is being defended. People are killing because they are under their own mental schizophrenia. People are killing because they feel as if some 'higher power' is prohibiting them from 'sinning'. Strange occurrences are happening. People are blaming their own personal misery on God and so are attacking every 'normal' Established person. People are spreading lies and rumors about other people for no reason. Fraud and Framing are happening. False imprisonments are happening. Prisoners are being released ahead of time.. Immigrants are entering into Countries without proper documents and noone cares...

Children are being taught 'anal sex', both for males and females, in 4th grade. Parents are not allowed to go onto School Grounds. Parents lose their Parental Rights over their own Children.. You are being told what you can and what you cannot eat or drink while in certain establishments. What if these self independent ideas begin to not be 'controlled' by Law and Established Laws?

And what if after such things begins, nothing gets done to stop them and revert them back to the safer place? What if everybody just lets the snowball get bigger and bigger and bigger without trying to prevent it from hitting Earth?

What if people would rather choose to sulk in their own pity and seek vengeance and revenge and the obstinate approach while the snowball is getting larger and larger and larger?

Their obstinance and the not caring approach for their personal lives isn't going to make everything stop or get better or worse. These are only 1 or 2 persons.. There is an entire world out there completely separated from those 1 or 2 persons who are doing the same and if not even worse..

But these other people may be committing crimes just because they truly don't care about other human lives. What might happen?

There was a time when people took an active part in 'getting out of the way' of other people. Now days, it has turned to making others get out of your way...Although you may have a semi truck or a car, it is now becoming a point to make sure the 'weaker', right of way, ones are the ones to get out of the way...

Pedestrians are losing their right of way. Cars going 'straight' with permitted lights are losing their right of way by those who are turning illegally. Seniors are losing their right of way. Bus passengers are losing their right of way. Airline travelers are losing their right of way. Innocent persons are losing their right of way.

Even cars are beginning to lose their right of way by bicycles who are hoarding up car lanes... Even parents lose their right of way to their drug abusing children. The lives and welfare of such parents are in jeopardy and risk and danger all because their children are claiming the Right of Way in all of life.

They're out at night screaming and ranting and cussing in the dark, in the streets, in the public venues claiming the right of way. And if they do not receive proper rights, they call their other buddies to join in..

There are now 'Sanctuary Cities' in which the 'Right of Way' to US citizens is being taken away.

The 'right' for students to receive safe schooling is being taken away by the bullies.

And what is being done about all of these? I only see more liberal Rights protests.. I only see more Minority Grouped Interests Protests... And these in turn cause other 'right of ways' to be taken away from persons, taken away from persons who may have NOTHING to do with all of the propaganda.

Noone has a 'right of way' to run over a human being body with a car. Not even in Assigned parking Lots. Noone has a right to intentionally 'trigger' mental health episodes. Although everyone has a right to do as they want many use that right to commit murder if they want. Many use that right to steal if they want. Many use that right to rape and torture if they want. But basically noone should have those rights.

Noone should have the right to put a living cat or kitten into a microwave and then turn it on. But it happens.

And so, what was the original question again?

We already know that in the art of warfare, good will come out Victorious. It is written in every book of war, including Sun Tzu's writing, 'The Art of War'.

You cannot define or show what are Marxist progressives in this country other than some how you think they disagree with the Alt Right's distorted and revisionist history.

You talk about a "small minority" and "elites" who are somehow helping them to a share of an America to which they are not entitled or they have not earned.

After all the ad homming above, I don't have to ask your permission to tell you that you are living in an America that exists only in your brain.

There's no difference in making that determination today than there was 150 years ago. The White Protestant Male Supremacists oppose the US Constitution that mandates equality for all people. They mounted a treasonous armed insurrection against the Constitutional government of the United States in 1861 and if there's a future "civil war" in the United States it will be by the same White Protestant Male Supremacists that display the same distain for the US Constitution and the Rule of Law in America today that they've always displayed historically. Always remember that the number one terrorist group in American history is and has always been the White Supremacists of the KKK and it's affiliated neo-Nazi white supremacy groups like the recent Alt-Right movement of Richard Spencer.

The United States didn't need to import Islamic terrorism because we had our own homegrown terrorists already here and they still represent the primary threat of terrorism in the United States according to law enforcement.

All American patriots embrace the US Constitution and the Rule of Law under the Constitution in the United States and none more so than those that are serving or that have served in the US military where all have sworn an oath to defend the US Constitution from all enemies both foreign and domestic. The White Nationalists/White Supremacists are the domestic enemy of the US Constitution and those that defend the Constitution are the Patriots.

Nothing has changed in the last 150 years. The Traitors are the same Traitors and the Patriots are the same Patriots.

In the US the south and north border the east coast.... The colony states. American would call someone from Alaska or Oregon a yankee and nobody would associate Florida with the south. Texas isn't Dixie. The southeast is the south and the northeast above Virginia is where you find yankees. Lol. Again, anybody born in the US knows this.
Do you know why I don't converse regarding places foreign to me? Because I would sound ignorant to anyone who was familiar to those places.

You are so wrong. Virginia to Florida to East Texas to Arkansas across Tennessee to VA and NC are the South.

Yes, you are conversing about places you don't understand, apparently.

I knew two people, a married couple, who thought the United States was part of Georgia. They were from Macon.

The parameters I gave you are the classical South, excluding MD, MO, KY, and the Indian Nations, which can make a good argument for belonging.

Geo
Georgia is one of 50 US states. One of the 13 colonies. Nobody born in the US would identify the US as part of their state. The states are part of the US. There are indian reservations, not nations. Most reservations have figured out how to maximize their tax free property. Casino say whaaa?
Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, South Carolina... those are southern states. Any time someone says Florida or Texas is part of the south is not from around here.

I cannot imagine feeling compelled to pretend to be someone I am not. That mist suck. You used the phrase "alt right" and I asked for any example of American journalists or politicists using the same phrase. You have no examples because the phrase isn't part of political dialogue in the US.
