    Agreed, a different medium but still an entertainment business that needs its customers. If the fans see the knee taking and clenched fists as "entertaining" and "just meaningless theater" then it might continue but if they don't then expect this "organic" scripting to meet a swift death.

    Why would it piss me off that you made a dumb post that black football players would turn down millions to play in the NFL?:roflol: Do you have some employment issues going on or something? It seems that your stuck on stupid when it comes thinking an employer can't tell their your employee what to do, you don't like it become the employer then you can allow everyone to do what they want?

    They crumbled when they bashed W Bush... I can still remember the radio announcements telling people to bring their Dixie Chicks discs to the radio stations to burn. The DC were crying and apologizing within days but none of us forgot.

    As an employee yes. I've been an employee and an employer and that's the way it works on the job. I once had a log truck driver refuse to go down a 10% grade iced up road with a load. I fired him and took the load down myself. Then I hired another driver. See how that works?

    They don't get to review ratings without players - especially not in the short term. So the concerns of the players are nearly always going to win out if that's what you're waiting on.

    No it doesn't. Most NFL clubs are sold out before the season starts. No one goes for a "fly over". Military pays the NFL to do them.
