I was watching Hoarders on TV so power wasnt the problem. No big deal. Just means late supper and taking Dad's plate to him on the way to work tomorrow instead of tonght.

Geesh, give me an extra hr and what do I do? Waste 3 hrs. *grumble*

I wish it was just one time we have to worry about. Not this changing time every time you get use to getting up at one time they change it. How about 30 from each time change and leave it alone. Geez..

Don't think do. I wonder what the $15 per hour has to do with it, or was this the case before the wage hike?

 

My view is that the high cost of health care many years ago contributed to the problem and perpetuated it. Single mothers with kids
wouldn't go back to work because the take home pay was enough to pay only for health insurance, and welfare includes free health care. Years ago those on welfare could buy beer, cigarettes, soda, candy, all that important stuff. Clinton put a time period on it, 5 years
i think, and the welfare rolls appeared to decrease.

 

Where I'm from, real macho type fellers only drink dark roast. Puts hair on yer chest.

How is the weather in Texas?

The family is coming this weekend so I have a lot of cooking to do this week to get ready.

 

Unseasonably warm here. Leaves are turning, but more likely from no rain than cooler temps.

Tell me what youre cooking... i may show up as a long lost cousin.

 

Happy bday to the Three Stooges dad. He had 4 sons and 3 turned out to be comedians. Can you imagine what that household was like?

 

I need a cram course in just how Leaves change color.?
Is there some Fairy God Mother of leaf change.

Yes, there is a fairy godmother of leaf change. Her name is Autumn and she has yellow & red leaves in place of hair.

 

If a Leaf changes color and no one notices,did that
leaf actually turn a different color..

 

But the government is our friend!

 

Leaves turn brown when you don't notice - all of them.
And the sky turns grey. Keep your eyes open.
