Having potato pancakes for breakfast now -- a late breakfast -- more like a brunch.

Will have leftover wor-wonton soup for dinner with white wine and moonshine fortified.

If you mix moonshine and Fresca with your white wine it tastes really good as a strong spritzer.

If I ate this/that for lunch I would fall asleep afterwards from the fat content.

I save coffee for the really early early-morning jobs.

That is anytime I need to get up before 6 a.m.

    Most notable 3 or 4 a.m.

I'm trying to find bleach for my eyes. I hate when someone posts a pic that cannot be unseen. :(
I get all depressed and can't get the image out of my mind.

Never ever refer to the poster only his/her post. You cannot tell someone they are stupid, ignorant or can't pour sand out of a boot with directions on the heel. That is considered an insult. You can attack their post but not by referring to their stupidity in making such an assinine post. You will meet all kinds of posters on here, just don't take some stuff to heart. Just have fun, you will eventually find your niche.

Oh, good you get cold and rainy this weekend that means we will be getting cold and rainy next week.. Will be a nice change. According to the weather report it won't be real cold and the daytime will be in the low 70's to high 60's. and the night will be in the low to high 40's. Not too bad.

I had no clue what to do back here when I became staff. Daisy was the staff member who trained me.
'Don't worry you can't break anything. If you could I would have already broke it.'
I still pass that advice she gave me down to new staff. She took me under her wing like a MamaDuck.

I travel a lot by air on business. I've explored a few options for hobbies besides "arguing with a***oles on the Internet" and playing iPad games. My latest is paracord projects (basically manly macrame). While some are purely decorative and little practical survival use, I like the projects with survival applications; mostly defined as using long pieces of paracord not weakened by splicing. The hobby allows me to pass TSA security because, apparantly, a 21 year retired veteran isn't trustworthy enough to carry a pocket knife with a 1 inch blade so I can do this with toe nail clippers and a disposable lighter.

Below are a few of my first attempts. I'm using the colors I like least first, but the international orange does have good survival applications. FWIW, each inch of "cobra weave" is about 1 foot of paracord.

    Paracord.JPG
BTW, the camo bracelet in the middle is store bought although I have those exact buckles on order and the weave is the same as the others.

There are other weaves, but the "cobra" weave is the most common because it's the easiest. Eventually I'll branch out....especially since I bought a lot of paracord at bargain basement prices over time plus have buckles, shackles and other accessories on order. It's fun and, as stated previously, a hobby I can take on the road with me without being hassled by TSA.

I have a bunch of these including necklaces.

Undid one to tie my poncho to my hatchback to shelter me from the rain on my most recent armed guard assignment.
