Ask a question that has something to do with this topic, then I'll decide.

The Professor's comment was not about Obama.

Unless you can show otherwise the military is bound by the Constitution.

So you cannot answer. I see. I asked "so what?" Since you cannot answer you have proven this thread is a joke.

True, but as I just mentioned about putting a drone on an American citizen, Anwar al-Awlaki, who was warring against the US from a hostile nation, the rules are a bit different off US soil. Hence why we have GITMO and why it's fuzzy about keeping an ISIS combatant in a foreign jail even if he happens to be an American citizen.

Does anyone here think that taking arms with ISIS or any other terrorist power is equal to a renunciation of citizenship?

Where did you get this from? "Killer Tuesdays" and "I'm really good at killing people" comes to mind. I'm well aware of Obama's war crimes and crimes against humanity as well as his crimes against the Constitution and especially NDAA 2012.

Only in that US soil is within the jurisdiction of the federal government. The Constitution does not change for anyone who is bound by it no matter where that person is.

The judge is apparently unaware that the congress did away with Habeas Corpus, sacrificed it at the altar of the GWOT. By way of numerous NDAA amendments, if the Unitary Executive declares a person a suspected terrorist, indefinite detention is allowed.

And as demonstrated by many posters here, that loss of liberty is applauded by many americans, demonstrating yet again we have the government we deserve.

I suspect there are a number of survivalists living in woods, prepared to "fight against their own country" if necessary, who would strongly disagree that they should lose (for example) their second amendment rights.

Really?, then why do illegal immigrants to the US have the right to due process before they are deported, then the right of an appeal to delay the deportation, sometimes for years?

Agreed but it does get fuzzy in such a situation. Were Americans who fought for the Nazis treated differently than other German soldiers?

FWIW, I had no problem with the CiC authorizing a Hellfire enema for Anwar al-Awlaki. The killing of his son was an accident since the target was another terrorist.

Not me. I'm glad Obama killed a few terrorists. There's still more out there.

Good and agreed. Drones are great; surgical and save lives rather than bombing entire compounds.

Well let's get back to this American.

Do you believe that the government should respect the constitutional rights of all Americans at all times?

Or do you think it is OK for the government to ignore constitutional rights when those rights are inconvenient?

Just so we're clear; you are stating that not a single RWer complained about Obama using a drone on an American citizen. Is this correct?

If I name one who did, what's in it for me?

Yeah, it should. What it shouldn't do is use the IRS to harass political opponents. Or the FBI, CIA and NSA to spy on the opposition party that is out of power. What it shouldn't do is criminalize politics or free speech. What it shouldn't do is circumvent the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 9th and 10th Amendments.
