Considering he has been blocked by both aisles in congress and dealing with a hostile press since he took office, I would say he has done quite well. Think reversal of nearly all of obama's executive orders, the appointment of one Supreme Court Justice plus over a dozen federal judges, consumer confidence at 17 year highs, tax relief, and stock market record highs, things aren't running too bad.
Things are going very well in America and have been since before Trump's election and that is certainly more true for the wealthy than for the vast majority of Americans. In reality most if not all of Trump's few accomplishments are overwhelmingly designed to help the rich and corporations and not the the average American.
How have you come to that conclusion? I see nothing in the tax bill that changes the fact that capital is more highly rewarded than labor.
Have you or do you have a 401K? Have you ever left a job to start a better one at higher pay? Your chances have never been better than in this coming year.
I don't understand why the tax bill has anything to do with job mobility or possibilities for advancement. Perhaps you can explain the connection. The claim that the reduction of corporate tax is going to create a massive manufacturing expansion is just hype so far. Demand is what causes expansion and giving more money to the already rich is unlikely to significantly create increased demand for jobs and services.
Just like the consistently dismal numbers he supposedly had prior to his election win. Blah, blah, blah. Trump's not going anywhere and Democrats aren't going to flip the House or Senate...
I understand your need to deny Trump's consistently dismal numbers. Pretending that the elective forecasts that showed Clinton's lead rapidly vanishing in the final days before the election is not a viable way of doing that, however. In 2016, her 2.8 million popular vote margin resulted in an accuracy greater than the composite final prediction for 2012.
Her 2.8 million popular vote margin came from NY and CA, its pretty meaningless, tens of millions didn't vote for her or Trump, which is why the popular vote is a useless measure of anything...
Not to mention most of the independents and a growing number of the Conservatives. Oh and of course most of the members of the UN.
Actually it is Trump who is unpopular. And his tweets are his ideas. The rest of the time he only reads what others write tor him which are arguably more lucid then his tweets.
Not if the Russians decide to help Trump one more time. Won't be as easy for them to hack all those individual races though.
I am very, very worried. All I want him to do is appoint another couple dozen judges and then I will listen to all the lefties bitch about President Pence.
Please describe this "boost". Thank you. For you see, until now, there still has not been one single budget. No omnibus bill. Which means that the budget and therefore the economy for 2017 has been running based on the policies of 2016. Now, let's see, who was President in 2016? Oh, yeah, it was Obama, a Democrat. Truth is - virtually every president is judged on his economic prowess starting in the second year of his administration. The Bush 43 administration DEMANDED that that economic stats on Bush start in January, 2002. Obama himself said in the middle of 2009 that it was not yet his economy, but as soon as the stimulus passed, he was willing to take responsibility for what happened thereof. So, the Obama stats start around July 2009. Not only that, where is the boost for those WV coal-workers? Ohio and Michigan steel workers? Where is it? We have seen time and time and time again that trickle-down (supply-side) economics does not work. Everytime, it has screwed over the middle class. And this taxscam is the most extreme trickle-down I have seen yet.
They are what he thinks. We all know that. The difference between and me is that I ignore what politicians say and pay attention to what they do.
OH, I beg to differ. It is bar none his preferred method of communication with the American public and his tweets are being recorded as official Government business. So, I would say that that is that.
You should probably read what I said again with comprehension. To help you I said his tweets are his ideas. He has no agenda. The Republican agenda is Ryan's.
