"America has no desire for an empire'

The American people don't. Not sure about neo-cons, international bankers, AIPAC, deep staters, ect (I.E. the 1%er elites)

Well, there’s no consensus on what international law is, who it is that determines it or who it is that has any authority to enforce it.

Actually I’d prefer that we were healthy and not in decline.

Ukraine is a member of the United Nations.

They were accepted by the UNGA and UNSC as a state.

All member states are obligated to recognize this.

We were talking just now about IL and who enforces it. If you insist on characterizing Russia’s response to US/EU statecraft in Ukraine as an invasion, and a violation of IL, who’s going to enforce IL??

NATO seems to have been moving East with provocative actions against Russia. Putin, like him or not, has been pretty deft at dealing with the situation.

there was nothing preventing Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, from signing a mutual-defense treaty with Russia instead of NATO.

History taught us that a liar is a liar, a terrorist is a terrorist, a Nazi is a Nazi ... ...and that we should be wary of them, and not play buddy, buddy with them.

When Vladimir Putin found out CIA agents were embedded in Chechnya during the war with Russia, he called Bush. Bush said that the US can do whatever it wants, and Putin told him that when you support terrorists you will suffer it in the end. Two weeks later 911 happened.

We're still buddy, buddy with terrorists in Syria.

Those nations thought they would gain something by uniting with the West, but now they realized they gained nothing.

I know the CIA has their fingerprints worldwide, I shouldn't be surprised they were fomenting trouble in Chechnya.

How can the Soviet Union be Russia, when it was a globalist one world order political system that didn't believe in countries? The Soviet Union was conceived in the West and financed in the West to overthrow the legitimate government of Russia.

It was just another Western invasion of Russia, something that happens every 20 years in one way or another. When the foreign influenced criminals killed 20 million Russians, they began using Russia's resources to bring other nations into their globalist one world system known as the Soviet Union.

When that one world globalist system tried to take over Germany, Hitler and the Nazi Party rose up to fight it... as did the fascists in other nations as well.

It bothers you doesn't it, that the people in S. Ossetia, Abkazia, Crimea and Donbas prefer Russia to American tyranny. Too bad!

That's not what the Eastern Europeans wanted, they wanted prosperity. Instead, half their populations have left to work in Britain and Germany, and they're not wanted there and treated like 2nd class citizens.

The U.S. isn't occupying 140 countries. We only have 200,000 military personnel overseas in a world of 7.6b, one soldier for every 38,000 people.

The Soviet Union was pushed on Russia by the West. :roflol:
You have a nasty habit of annexing parts of other countries with large Russian populations.
