    Had a bologna and american cheese on white bread with mustard for lunch. Two chocolate covered marshmallow easter eggs for dessert. Sweet tea with a lotta ice to drink.

    Hope I dont get busted for flame-baiting. :roflol:

    This is lavender and it grows locally in the Rocky Mountains states.

    I usually have lamb on Holy Thursday night, same as Jesus did, and then fast until Sunday evening, Just like Jesus did, and then have tilapia fish on Sunday night, just like Jesus did.

    In the meantime I drink water with a dash of sea salt mixed in it for electrolytes and to prevent kidney stones.

    Dehydration gives rise to kidney stones.

    I gave birth to a kidney stone at home back in 1995. It was about the time McVeigh blew up the Murrah Bldg in OKC. I remember hearing it on the radio news while I was suffering in bed for 4 days. That was right around Easter back then too.

    I started carrying a thermos with ice water.
    Water can be a damn fine drink.

    I like orange juice, grapefruit juice, milk, and sweetened tea rather than plain water to drink.

    However the purpose of a fast is deprivation of the luxuries of life in remembrance.

    And at the very least, you need water, with some kind of electrolyte in it. That's why I opt for sea salt in it.

    Thanksgiving turkey, Xmas ham, Easter Thursday lamb, and Easter Sunday fish are the classic feasts in my extended family.

    On Fridays we usually had fish. But for Easter this was always moved to Sunday.

    a lot of the division happens from the salt of the earth, the sodium from fake salt raises blood pressure.

    the sodium from real salt, like sea salt, lowers blood pressure.

    not everyone has the privilege of real salt unfortunately, much less the knowledge of its healing powers.

    When you Fast .. you Fast real fast.
    Like maybe so fast that even yer fast can't keep up.
    The better to enjoy them cold cuts and fresh baked bread and

    Haven't seen that in years as a matter of fact have seen that or the bluebonnet flowers in years( about three years for the flowers).

    I attend church on the regular, I really enjoy it. I think getting all caught up in the religiousity of it is silly though. I don’t see any reason to act out a skit in order to be a believer.

    We always have fish on Good Friday. Yesterday we had broccoli raab with cavatelli. Today we are having lamb, roasted potato, stuffed mushrooms and spinach salad. Plus the citrus pie for desert.

    Thankfully Ive never had kidney stones. I know a few friends who have had them and they say its horrible painful. Its great to know about the sea salt and water. Im going to pass that information on. Thanks.
