Trump is denying that he said the attack would be soon and leaving it open to even not happen.... Trumps latest tweet https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/984374422587965440
So was I intimidating and bullying people by riding my bad-to-the-bone motorcycle on the highway yesterday?
Corbyn, Cabel, other experts who I do not know the name of, BBC newsreaders. Here in Britain news has been talking about the potential for escalation since we heard that Russia may fight back. In fact even without that an accidental attack on Russia or her equipment could be enough. Trump dared Putin.
It wasn't done by anyone, it was staged. And all this neurotic posturing by Trump and May over two incidents which didn't even happen - the Skripal thing, and the 'chemical attack' in Syria.
Yes, the US needs to know the definition of 'humility' and to practice it once in a while. Actually Trump exemplifies it better than anyone can. Bellicosity mixed with arrogance sums it up.
You seem to think that the US cruising the world in their fancy hardware is bullying... just trying to get you nailed down is all.
You see there you go wanting your war again, wanting to feel omnipotent regardless of the reality that this feeling from the US has already resulted in millions of deaths in the ME, millions of refugees needing homes and terrorism in Europe - the last was predicted by our Intelligence before you got started. I see no reason to kill more and risk nuclear war for an American's ego.
Russia "fighting back" is exactly what the US needs, not for America's ego, but to put Russia in it's place. Once we bloody their nose real good, they'll be less likely to cause pain and suffering to their neighbors, making the world a nicer place to live in.
If you consider a Sig P220ST Elite with 230gr PDX1 .45 hollow points to be "armed to the teeth", then yes.
Once you 'bloddy' their nose as you put it and escalation begins the first place Russia will escalate it to, as the dimon said, is Europe. Just as when you began you were fine with the knowledge that you would be bringing terrorism to Europe, you can remain calm believing you will suffer none of the consequences for your actions. It is a pity that the US has lost the ability to self reflect and is instead engaged destroying the rest of the world just so their men can pat their chests and claim they are the best. You have lost it.
What's at stake? Quite simply, Russia has two naval outlets to the Mediterranean Sea (where also the 6th fleet is centered and managed out of Naples, Italy). One is in the Ukraine, Crimea, that Russia has occupied. But the problem with that port is that its entrance to the Med is through the Turkish Straights (there are two, one at Instanbul, the other at Canakkale). These can be closed at any time. The other Russian naval port on the Med is in Syria at Tartous, which is Assad's "home town" and that of his religious sect (Allouites). Which is why the Russians have been helping Assad take land (and oil in the eastern provinces) back for Assad.
I would have been surprised if the reports came from axis forces. Still, there was an awful lot of them, most of them false. You won the point anyway - the US fleet at Pearl Harbour shouldn't have been lined like targets at harbour given the political tensions of that time.
I totally agree - Russia is long overdue to be shown its place in the world militarily and economically. With US aircraft carrier arrival along with its armada next week, which is capable of taking down an average country, Russians are going to have to think twice - try to sink a US ship and risk losing all of their hardware in Syria or just accept what is happening and learn from it.
a the new old america http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...rs-soft-us-policy-toward-russia-now-over.html and they continue the states are high for everyone but most of all for Tehran. we will be watching you.
What's at stake? Is Assad dangles somewhere or forced to abdicate, then a pipeline from the "Stan's" via astan, iraq, Syria, and on to Europe, which would significantly reduce dependence on russian energy and render Gazprom bankrupt in a few years, afaic).
I want to thank you SiNNK as I do so much enjoy confronting an arrogant bloviating Militarist hooked on his own testosterone. And he should Be Aware & Beware - The one thing common with all Bullies, is that they become Traumatized Craven Cowards when confronted without .................................................some size or high tech advantage in place to cover their Asz Good question ! - & here's another for you: What is the US Military experience teaching its members ? Can Cowardice be taught ? - Being as they say, "Suicide is the yellow cowards way out." It seems an awful lot of your Bros. in the US Military cannot endure to live, when confronted by the Ugly Facts of their own brain dead brutality and the resulting death of their Delusions ........................................................................ of some sort of American Moral Superiority Yes and it seems that your US Military does not handle trauma very well at all. Perhaps ............it has something to do with the words & observations of Israeli Military Historian ................................................................................. - Martin Van Creveld "If you are strong, and you are fighting the weak for any period of time, you are going to become weak yourself. If you behave like a coward then you are going to become cowardly .......................................................................................... – it’s only a question of time." Well times up StiNNK ! The high tech bully ass US Military has been engaged in a War in Third World Afghanistan for how many years ? - As light has been shone upon the numerous well documented Atrocities .......committed against the civilian population. The US Military takes on the more of the aspect .........................of a bloody Zombie Apocalypse than it does a trained and disciplined Military -------------------------------------------------------------------------- U.S. Military Atrocity In Afghanistan Nothing New https://www.huffingtonpost.com/john-wight/16-civilians-massacred-to_b_1355179.html -------------------------------------------------------------------------- US Military Struggling To Stop Suicide Epidemic Among War Veterans https://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/feb/01/us-military-suicide-epidemic-veteran From the Article: Last year, more active-duty soldiers killed themselves than died in combat. And after a decade of deployments to war zones, the Pentagon is bracing for things to get much worse New VA Study Finds 20 Veterans Commit Suicide Each Day https://www.militarytimes.com/veter...dy-finds-20-veterans-commit-suicide-each-day/ From the Article: Roughly 20 veterans a day commit suicide nationwide, according to new data from the Department of Veterans Affairs — a figure that dispels the often quoted, but problematic, "22 a day" estimate yet solidifies the disturbing mental health crisis the number implied. In 2014, the latest year available, more than 7,400 veterans took their own lives, accounting for 18 percent of all suicides in America. Veterans make up less than 9 percent of the U.S. ....................................................................................................................population. --------------------------------------------------------------------------
EXACTLY - I LOVE it when Fascists proudly pull down their pants down in public, ....................... and let the gross and vile nature of their parts hang out for all to see ! In the words of General Smedley Butler "I spent thirty-three years and four months in active military service as a member of this country's most agile military force, the Marine Corps. I served in all commissioned ranks from Second Lieutenant to Major-General. And during that period, I spent most of my time being a high class muscle-man for Big Business, for Wall Street and for the Bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism" "War is just a racket. A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of people. Only a small inside group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few at the expense of the masses." I wouldn't go to war again as I have done to protect some lousy investment of the bankers. There are only two things we should fight for. One is the defense of our homes and the other is the Bill of Rights. War for any other reason is simply a racket. "War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollar$ and the losses in lives.
You mean the typical nonsense from Litwin reincarnated ? Dier ezzor was a some Russian Mercenaries mixed in with Syrian troops - a small group of 300-500 fighters that were attacked US Military. Drones and B-52 bombers for a period of 3 hours. You should to a church and exercise the ghost of Litwin from your thought patterns.
