Trying to pretend that the state department warning is a reason to not go to Mexico is dishonest

 

Pretending the US State Department issues these warnings for fun is moronic. You sound like the people that wind up in N. Korean or Iranian jails. Warnings mean nothing to people like you.

 

And that is just what is reported. There are many isolated areas of Mexico that are, for all intents and purposes, devoid of legitimate law enforcement accountability.

 

Actually I didn't pretend that you shouldn't for fun did I. This is the third time I've said this but 3 million tourist a year go to Mexico and there's a man expats that live down there try and process this before you post again.

I have and posted on it several times. I don't care if ten million fools want to live in a corrupt third world narctocracy (drug cartels killing each other in broad daylight being just one of Mexico's problems). It's not a good idea.
I already mentioned once my mother in law used to live there off and on. I think I know a bit about the issue.


If you've got to cower in your little Yanqui enclave to keep from being killed in cartel cross fire, keep away from corrupt crooked cops, avoid tainted alcohol and food, steer clear of thieves, etc. then I'd rather stay here and go and do whatever I want. If saving a little bit of money
justifies living like a virtual prisoner in Yanqui communities go ahead.
