14 killed in tourist hot spot Cancun during bloody 36-hour span

There are 3 million tourists a year that have it figured out not to mention a million expats that live down there.

 

The warning applies specifically to Mexico! Lying doesn't do much for your argument.
"The U.S. State Department has warned its citizens about traveling to Cancun and Los Cabos, two of Mexico's most popular tourist destinations, after a surge in violence in those regions.

A travel advisory issued Tuesday upgraded the warnings for two states, Quintana Roo and Baja California Sur, saying turf battles between criminal groups have resulted in violent crime and shootings in which innocent bystanders have been killed."

And if tourists want to go to Mexico anyway, knowing they are only relatively safe in their own little compounds then I say what's the point of going to a place where you are a virtual prisoner anyway? LOL...what is your angle? Do have condo time you need to dump onto somebody else? Get a sun lamp and stay home.

 

My angle is I don't run on paranoia and fear. 3 million Taurus go down there a year and a million expats live there full-time process that. There are roughly a thousand American retirees moving to Mexico every single day.

 

Of course they're friendly to tourists , they want your money and that's how they get it ! ! !

Earlier somebody tried to insult posters here by telling them to go hide in their closets if Mexico scared them. It turns out everyone from the State Department to Mexican tourism officials are warning tourists not to stray from approved areas which sounds like vacation time is spent in a virtual closet to me.

And even tainted alcohol at some Mexican nights spots are responsible for tourist deaths.

 

So the State Department is just being paranoid?

And if taxes aren't raised there won't be cops around to prevent you from being murdered, there will be no firemen to stop your house from burning down, and there won't be any teachers resulted in kids not be taught.

The only thing the left can try to sell is fear, otherwise they have nothing.

And as I posted earlier, 12 of the most violent cities in the world are in Mexico. Maybe you should take your anti gun protests down there and let us know how it works out.

I pointed out the violence is amongst the drug cartels not aimed at tourists. You're just posting fear and paranoia.

 

Mexico has a murder rate of 16.55%, the United States has a rate of 4.88%. And here we have libs telling us how unsafe this country is because of guns all while they tell us in this thread how safe and wonderful Mexico is.

Now you arent following my comments. There is no reason not to go to Cancun as a tourist. Here is what state says.
