How has it 'worked out'? Those kids are, as mentioned, doomed. They are horribly neglected by their narcissistic parents, and have been raised in the public eye.

You think that will replace parental attention and boundaries? Seriously?

If you're saying that you're absolutely not responsible for reading my post nor responsible for what you yourself type, well we at least agree on that.

?? you need to go back and read my post. I said specifically that although slavery ended systemic issues (=oppression) exist to this day.

That rather cuts the corner that oppression was totally legally fine till the 1960's.
At that point it only ended legally. I doubt a culture changed with a signature of a law.

Agreed- and what I am saying is that there are still (nearly 60 years later) "systemic" issues. Nobody took me up on what those systemic issues were so I have not gotten into details.

If you check education and wealth statistics for America in 2018, whites are not at the top. Asians/Indians are.

You can choose to put the system to work for you, or you can choose not to. Everyone has war stories, of one sort or another. My grandparents didn't have hot water or an inside toilet until they were nearly 80. My father-in-law was an impoverished orphan at 16. None of it matters when we all have the same access to opportunity. And let's not forget, some of us have even MORE opportunity to exploit the system (Affirmative Action).

The article the OP sourced is so beyond retarded and hypocritical it just boggles me. If a bar announces its going to have an event where no minorities are allowed for any reason the media would immediately pounce on them and want boycotts, and their liquor licenses revoked and sue them ( like the baker)... I mean Geez willickers Wally

On the upside its so bat crap crazy that it's crap like this that is driving more and more moderates red vs blue. That's a fact. Leftists are just the loudest not the majority by a large margin.

Again, some people work harder and smarter than others so they can afford things others can't...you can't change this and it's not a problem. Hard work should come with benefits .

As for the racist part of your post.....you're completely full of **** and there's not a chance in hell you'll even attempt to prove it. Typical lefty nonsense, blame everybody else.

"Stop and Frisk" primarily targeted blacks
In many places blacks are routinely harassed by police officers - for being black.
    Drug laws are unevenly enforced.

The kid of Will Smith probably never worked hard in his life. He is just free loading on the money of his parents. That is how it works in capitalistic US of A. It's about money. Poor people from the hood with 10 times more talent never got that opportunity. And that's how doors are closed for the poor. That's how apartheid rule in the 1960's still is felt in the black community... where only the lucky few escape.

No, they do not. They pay more for education so they no doubt expect their kids to work harder. Not all though. Plenty of people pay for private schooling expecting the school to do all the work.

Meantime, the top high school in my entire country is PUBLIC. It costs about $180 a year to send your kid there. Rich, poor, on welfare .. makes no difference. They have had the highest academic results in the nation for many many years. Very very consistent. What do you think the common denominator is for their students, who come from all strata of society? Parental attitude to education. These are the kids whose parents care the most, and work the hardest to get their kids ahead of the pack. You should also know that only about 5% of the students are white.
