    No, they need evidence.

You don't arrest people you can't charge. Not and hold them for long anyway. Go learn something. Hell, watch some Law & Order and you'll be able to figure that one out.

Many of those are among the most brilliant/accomplished people I am aware of...probably "Uncle Tom's" and "Aunt Jemima's" ...

Their imagination tells them all they'll ever need to know.

    That's why they're always wrong.

And again, they had guns in the car. It would take less than an hour to know if they were legal. Not much longer to determine if they were the same caliber used in the shooting.

If they positively ID'd that car as being part of the shooting they had evidence to hold the driver for 24 hours at a minimum. They didn't do that. You might want to watch a little law and order yourself.

They can arrest and detain for 24 hours on nothing more than suspicious circumstances. After 24 hours they have to either charge or release. If the guns were illegal why would they release?

Gun charges are the first charges dropped in pretty much any case.

You can fart into the wind if you want, I'll wait for the facts.

If you're going to imagine scenarios though, at least try to get them right. You're not.

Exactly. A case where this is very evident is the Walter Scott case.

He was shot after running away from a minor traffic issue. That cop deserved the 20 years for what he did.

The problem with the morons who promote this idea that no black person should ever be shot, and lie and moan, is that it makes the TRUE cases of police abuse harder to identify.

    They're doing themselves a disservice.

On the other hand, I bet not one of them knows the story of Justin Carr.

No one gives a **** about that one.

You are basing your belief that gun charges are dropped in any case based on what exactly?

Just to be clear, you believe that the officer was justified in shooting an unarmed kid who was running away because he MIGHT be dangerous to others but the driver of the car, who DID have guns in the car, was safe enough to let walk? Because gun charges are the first charges dropped in every case?

Lol...thats your line of thinking? That the guns were illegal but they let the perp go because gun charges get dropped?

But the fleeing kid was fair game because he was stupid?

    Facts.

    Yes. I do.

A police officer should not be required to risk their lives because some idiot with bullet holes in his vehicle and guns in the back wants to make sudden movements.

    OODA loop. Learn it.

Also an empty magazine was found Antwon Rose. Closer examination of the cell phone video reveals he pulled up his shorts before he started running, that could possibly be interpreted as him reachching for something and running for cover in a high stress situation. That's just speculation I don't know, I wasn't there.

If the link doesn't work Google "antwon rose live updates" its under wpxi news page.

Yep. This kind of crap makes intelligent people skeptical of all the "bad shooting" claims...

Yes they did.. They choose not to because they already killed one of the runners. I am happy with that outcome though.

Because he was a teenager and that's what they do.

At that point he wasn't a suspect. At that point there wasn't even the certainty that the car was the one the cops were looking for.

How is letting someone run away going to endanger your life? I am trying to follow that logic.

Which of course is the automatic rationalization for all police behavior. They have to make a quick decision, if you ever question the judgement of a police officer in a case involving a minority this is because you are a "race baiter"

If the person shot was white and well dressed the officer would not have shot him....

No...thats not "what they do" I've been a teenager and I've been stopped by the police and never once thought about running from them. And trust me, I was a little ***hole when I was a teenager. If you shoot someone and run from the police you lose your cute "he was just a teenager" status. Regardless of the pictures they are using of him that I'll bet are atleast 4 years old, and photo shopped.

Right....so I'm guessing you never saw the Daniel Shaver video. He was "white and well dressed" and was shot to death while on all fours by an AR-15, but you wont hear about those stories when both parties involved are white.....well because....it doesn't really spike the ratings.

I’m “trying” to “claim” that the police have an obligation to capture any suspect and bring him in ALIVE. What a police officer believed he knows is ****ing completely irrelevant. It’s not his job, his responsibility, or his privilege to make a snap judgement about a suspect and then execute him based on that judgment.

It’s his job to bring the suspect in to be investigated and if necessary stand trial, where an entire apparatus has been established to carefully and meticulously determine whether or not someone has actually committed a crime and then determine their punishment if they are found guilty.

Justice is supposed to be in the hands of a judge and jury not some cop with a hair trigger and no compunction whatsoever about gunning down a man who is unarmed and running away.

One last thing. It’s becoming clear that you cannot leave the responsibility for determining whether or not a fleeing suspect is a danger to others to the police. It seems they are trained to almost always decide that the suspect is indeed a threat and the thing they are taught to do is gun them down. Society cannot suffer a situation in which police are trained to kill anyone who runs away from them.
