https://www.gunsamerica.com/blog/ar...80&utm_campaign=/blog/ar-15-chainsaw-bayonet/ I cannot begin to thank USA Today and the anti-gun left for the hours of entertainment they provide - if not for them, this may have never seen the light of day. I wonder how long before "chainsaw bayonets" will make it on the list of "accessories" that define an 'assault weapon'. I wonder if the anti-gun left will use this as an excuse to add picatinny rails to that list. Hmm. But hey - its good for a laugh - please keep up the good work!
God, this is so dumb and impractical, but manbabies who are obsessed with the appearance of being tough will cream themselves over it.
Won't really work to well on my AR-15 pistol. To front heavy Gun show draw item. But then again with the forthcoming Demazombies apocalypse on the horizon maybe just maybe
We need to give these away for free in the Nancy Pelosi's constituency although I think they might all already be lost to the infection.
Responsible gun owners don't need dumb accessories that do nothing except look menacing and probably work worse than regular bayonets.
The chain saw thing is a joke,no serious gun owner would have a use for one. This is the product of a serious gun owner who is making fun of the stereotype, the liberal perception of all gun owners. We aren't all hillbillies and rednecks and those of us who aren't have a great deal of animus for irresponsible yahoos who own guns. Back to the manbaby thing, there's an awful lot of classless juvenile name calling here on PF and it brings nothing to the conversation. As I said you're better than that.
They already are in the hermit kingdom of California. Numerous chainsaws have been labeled to be politically incorrect and are illegal in California. Dude, are you serious? It's making fun of idiots who would believe this was meant to be serious. Please don't think this was meant to be serious.
When the M16 (the AR15's military daddy) first came out, they were, supposedly, not even going to have a bayonet lug on it. Because, seriously, in the modern world of automatic weapons, how many bayonet charges have you heard of? (But I suppose a chainsaw bayonet might be good for crowd control.) Relevant perhaps: something I recall from reading about WWII Basic Training: the trainees were told that in hand-to-hand bayonet fighting, when you stick a bayonet into someone, despite the 'blood groove', it sometimes is very hard to pull out, and in that case, you should fire a round and the weapon will disengage itself. To which a trainee exclaimed, "Hell, if I've got any bullets left, there ain't gonna be no bayonet fighting!" Common sense really. I hope that chainsaw bayonet comes with a supply of tourniquets for use on themselves by the idiots who buy one.
