Candidates are free to donate their own money to a campaign, but the can't pay hush money without disclosing it.

Giving Trump some leeway, he never was a serious candidate before, so he may think it's very unfair that he cannot pay hush money when running for office in the same way he customarily paid hush money in his everyday affairs. (-: I mean from Trump's point of view, what's the good of paying hush money if you have to disclose it as a campaign donation!

The big difference is, Reagan and the Bush's actually rebuilt the military and did a better job overall while Obama threw money down the toilet and destroyed the military in the process. Nope and nope. Paying someone not to speak is not a crime. Especially when they weren't paid to be silent on an issue that wasn't a criminal offense to begin with. So there can't be an obstruction charge when no crime was committed in the first place. Telling a cop he can't look in my home without a warrant isn't obstruction. Oh, Manifort said he was expecting a pardon? So what you are saying is any testimony Manifort says is really tainted because he expected something for his own wrong doing, but isn't getting it so he will try to throw Trump under the bus. What Manifort is being accused of, has nothing to do with paying off Stormy, that is why Trump is owning up to paying her off.
