In the early 70's I bought a pair of Pre- - Starsky & Hutch -
Huggy Bear pimp boots. The reason.? I cut lawns for a Lanscaping
outfit the summer of by Frosh year from College. There were
3 crews. One crew had a Black kid from the inner city who had
to take a couple bus in order to make it to the " burbs " and get a ride
    from his Crew.He only wore these big heavy wooden heel { 3" - 4 " }
pimp shoes/boot to cut lawn.He usually just used the trimmer and small
push mower. But also the sit down mower since his crew cut apartment
    lawn.
I got a pair of them Pimp boots. This was before Disco became all
the rage.I was very embarrassed whenever I wore them and had to hide
them in my closet. So,yes I know all about big heeled shoes { or boots }.

Big, heavy heels are easier to walk on than a stiletto heel found on women's shoes, but likely just as uncomfortable. Not something (of either type) that I'll wear voluntarily.

So, for two days off, I'll be working extra hours plus an extra day this weekend. I may be a little shady on my math, but there seems to be an imbalance on this.....

    A few weeks ago my next door neighbor { where * Princess lives }
had a mushroom in his back yard the size of a shovel head.
It was a white toadstool.Around the corner and up the road another
neighbor had about a half dozen large white mushrooms in his front
yard near the street.I'm kinda used to seeing toadstools in periods
where a lot of rain cam down in short span of time and its humid.
But I have never even came close to seeing a wild Toadstool mushroom
the size of my neighbors.I was seriously thinking of taking a picture of it.
When my neighbor cut his lawn I waited to see what he propsed to do about that
that toadstool. He kinda went around it and then the next sweep with his
    Craftmans sitting mower { which I sold him when he first moved in }
he casually went right over it and it like disappeared.I waited till later
and tried to see where any pieces might be.I didn't want Princess or her
mate { a new dog } sniffing around and eating any what was left of that
mushroom.I never saw hide nor hair of that mushroom. Not a trace.
I'm still wondering how that happened.

    * the rat terrier I have been keeping an eye on for years.
I give her and her new mate { American Bulldog } snacks
whenever the owner is away.Really good and beneficial dog treats
that are high in vitamins { antioxidants } plus choice tablescraps.

The other day I was saying to meself. Most Women in summer
kinda prefer walking around the house in barefeet.Plus show me a
Galsy that doesn't own at least One if not many Flip Flops
I kept thinking ... Now why is that.?
You mean Men are more concerned about their feet.

That's way more information about Phyllis than I ever would want to know.
So Im gonna pass on talking about it. lol

I got this advice from an old Italian guy I really respected.
Its old school. Im old school. I like old school.

Never tell anyone what you told a priest in a confessional.
Never tell anyone what lever you pull in a voting booth.
Never tell anyone what goes on in the bedroom.

Like the Little Rascals and their Mush served every meal.
Where even Pete the Pup hides when the lunch bell is rung.

So Danny it's A-Ok to pull a Priests lever in the rectory
bedroom as long as they keep it to themselves.

I'm not sure if you or Foolie has been in the bottle more this morning. Or, maybe it's actually been me in the bottle.

    Can I try your coffee?

No, most men are more concerned about what shoes a woman wears, regardless of comfort.

Just ask MMC what shoes he prefers....

Women mostly dress, especially for shoes, for other women. Once a woman goes around a corner out of sight, ask a man what shoes she was wearing and he won’t know unless he’s either gay or a shoe salesman. Most men just like the way certain shoes makes a woman’s ass wiggle and that’s as far as their interest goes.

Then I guess I make poor choices to impress women, cause comfort is the name of the game.

I didn't know MMC was gay or a shoe salesman.

I know women who will choose comfortable shoes for work then change out of them outside of work. I’ve never met a man who would do so.

I totally agree. It was Talk Radio host Mike McConnell of
The Big One { 700 WLW ] in Cincy who used to say.
Women dress for other women.I never gave it much thought.
But that was exactly how my mother and her friends who
play bridge and go to cocktail parties behaved.Women dressing
for other women.I think a lot of guys don't understand that.
    Of course it's also a Socio-economic thingy.
Women who don't attend cocktail parties or go to fancy
restaurants don't need nice clothes.Sadfully that may be a
majority of women. Most women who shop at Wal*Mart don't even
act like Women. They often act like their Hubby's or boyfriends.
So there is the problem of Stockholm Syndrome at play.
But I go to Wal*mart at least twice a week.Appaled as I may
be at the often despicable way those type women dress.
It's due entirely to upbringing and pride in one's appearance.
My Mom's sister was a slob.Because her Parents were busy
running the family business.Grandpa became a big shot and Grandma
worked every day keeping the business alive. They were millionaires.
My Mom would not be caught dead going out in public w/o
looking her sunday best. Her sister { younger } was a spoiled brat
who lived on Grandpas huge farm and allowed to be lazy and slovenly.
Totally undisciplined and without a care in the world. No friends either.
My Mom was very popular and sociable. Her Christmas card list was
way over a hundred each year.

That is Old school. But not even that.Haven't you seen movies from
the 40's and 50's even TV Dads who when they got home
the wifey fixed them a drink and put their slippers next to their
favorite sitting chair as they read the newspaper waiting for supper.
