Not worried. OTOH, it's definitely something to write your Congressman about to ensure American citizens are protected from unscrupulous people. Right now my biggest complaint are scam phone calls not that the government has injected a microchip in my ass while I was asleep.
My issue is that big brother is investing my tax dollars in development of a nearly inescapable, largely unregulated domestic surveillance network. My Reps are aware of my objections.
I do so much on my phone already for convenience. Talking to a little machine and having it do simple tasks seems kind of silly. ...its not paranoid to think corporations ( or anyone) could use the technology to their advantage.
I still don't want one though - if I need the answer to a question I simply switch on one of my tablets and have it within seconds; if I want to know the weather forecast I use an app, and if I want to listen to music, instead of switching off the tablet I open the 'my music' app. So I think Alexa is the answer to a problem we didn't have?
Life of a spy must be much easier now. Before, you had to install microphones in the house of people you wanted to spy, now people have the politeness to do it themselves. Personnaly, I don't neither Alexa or any AI of that kind, I don't like that much new technologies.
No I wouldn't I don't even like that I have to run Windows on 2 of my machines for CAD/CAM been a linux user for 2 decades. When there's an open source alternative I may reconsider.
Apparently I'm a Russian agent so they might be tapping me. But it's not what they do today it's what they can do tomorrow that worries me. We invite the tech into our house and justify the attack on privacy for convenience. Those that trade trade temporary safety for liberty deserve neither!
Mass surveillance of the population. It's not necessarily individual, it's the aggregate of the surveillance. Much like PRISM and what Snowden revealed. Operation Mockingbird, had they the ability to mass surveil, would have given them knowledge on how successful their operations were in order to tailor it for a desired goal.
Around half of the internet who disagree with leftists are russian agents. It seems that every adult people in Russia are russian agents.
Ahh, so you're the one! For me, it'd be hours of listening to the television and the tap-tap-tap of me on my keyboard with occasional quiet as I leave for work or go outside for yardwork.
