Kavanaugh, Ford set to testify in Senate Judiciary Committee hearing

Think about this: If Kav were actually guilty and were to admit what Ford says he did, his career and chance for a lifetime job on the SC would be over. If he is caught lying in what he said today, his career and chance for a lifetime job on the SC would be over. But if he did it, is guilty as hell, and lies about it and gets confirmed anyway without being found out, he's home free. So his best bet is to say it never happened and take his chances whether that is the truth or not. Anything else would mean he's toast.

I think the Trumpublicans should be simply embarrassed first by completely failing document production, then failing to reopen the FBI background check once allegations came in, then failing to subpoena Judge, then rushing to vote. I do understand the rush to vote, as Grassley wants to get this OVER WITH ASAP!!!!

It's obvious as the day is long they consider this committee process and the Senate vote in full as a simple nuisance hurdle to their goal of stacking the court and I think they should be called on it.... Really disgusting, coming on the heels of stopping Garland AND getting Gorsuch for essentially nothing....

I certainly don't think these multiple allegations are political or coordinated, but I'm not unhappy to make Trumpublicans have to work for selling their souls for simple trinkets...

If they aren't Blue Waved out of power (at least in the house) in November, there's little hope for this country in the near future...

If Ford named Keyser as a witness, this becomes a huge problem for the credibility of her allegation, as all four people named now have denied any such knowledge.
