That may be true today, but not necessarily 36 years ago. His classmates have said that it was a drinking game in 1982.

She could not make it on Monday (I think that was September 15th) "because she was afraid to fly". And yet she flies.

Where in the world did you get the notion that people who are afraid to fly can't fly? I'm afraid of the dentist, but I go every year (well... almost...).

In any case, what does this nonsense have to do with lying under oath? Can you or can you not produce a quote of her lying under oath and evidence that's it's a lie at the level that I provided, at least? If you can, let's hear it. If you can't, my case is made: "Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus "

She said she is afraid of flying and could not make the Monday meeting because of it. But apparently she flies on a regular basis. She said she was claustrophobic because of the assault and must have two front doors. She lived in a small apartment with only one front door. These are just as much lies as the ones they credit Kavanaugh with. I don't know whether she said any of this under oath, but the fact remains that they were not completely true.

Let's sum it up this way OP.
You have absolutely no proof of anything you say and neither do I so I will await for hard evidence to come forth from you. Until you bring that to us, I really don't care how many times Kavanaugh vomited in high school. Now, throwing an ice cube is something to really get your panties in a wad.

Suck it up. I assume you at least started High School and unless you were the class nerd, can I call you a rapist and sit back and wait for you to prove me wrong. Don't ask me when, where, or how as all that **** is irrelevant to the fact I have a front hole and am to be believed, especially when a conniving brain addled senator named Feinstein who thought holding on to a letter for a couple of months and then spring this bullshit on the committee the day before a vote and think that was going to derail the nomination.

Backfire in your face is almost enough revenge for most of us, unless you are the guy getting pilloried without a trail. I sincerely hope his revenge will be slow and very painful.

Is this what you're yapping about?

I know many people who are terrified of flying but do so occasionally when they have to

As far as this polygraph nonsense...

    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ch...for-potential-polygraph-grassley-sounds-alarm

A letter from an unnamed EX boyfriend (because break ups are always friendly) that DOES however name the supposed subject of the "coaching".

Looks like more he said she said that the FBI could have checked in to and ....didn't.

    Oh....

Will be lost? The SC has been openly partisan for decades, especially on the left. The lefty SC judges always vote lock step with their party while a couple Republicans were at least in the middle. The judiciary has been blatantly partisan for a while and the Congress really needs to put them back in their place.

Its clear you didn't read. She didn't do it occasionally. She did it frequently and for fun not just business including flying to DC days after she claimed she was afraid..

LOL Its a sworn statement not a letter. Jesus Christ if you are going to be this sloppy in responding why bother?

And since she does travel frequently by air repeatedly for both business and pleasure just as the ex boyfriend said under penalty of perjury it only adds to the validity of his sworn testimony.

Now please, next time educate yourself on the facts before you respond.

An anonymous "statement" from a spurned lover?

You want to check it's veracity..have the FBI investigate and interview McClean..the woman who was supposedly coached. Oh wait...we can't do that

A sworn statement. Say it with me, sworn statement under penalty of perjury.

And by her own admittance she flies frequently and despite having the time to take another mode of transportation after she delayed her appearance, she flew. She's a liar and a fraud.

You lost dude. Get over it. She lied and got caught and the truth prevailed.

You do know what the word "quote" means, right? Stop the nonsense and show a quote from her lying under oath like I did. And give a reasonable explanation of how we know it's a lie at least comparable to the ones I sent. If you can't (and I bet you can't) just say so....

And please make some sense. Lying about flying makes no sense. What possible benefit would she get from lying about that?

Think! I'm not interested in you demonstrating that she is not Mother Theresa. I'm only interested in knowing that she told the truth about this case while under oath. Kavanaugh did not pass that test. That makes him guilty according to the principle 'Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus"

So you don't believe either side.
Because she didn't want to fly down on Monday so as to delay the whole proceedings. I don't really care whether her falsehoods are lying under oath or not. Lying or falsehoods, whatever, destroy her credibility and the reason she gave for not being there on Monday was fear of flying. I am not concerned about perjury. I want to know who is telling the truth. So far, she doesn't hack it.

Why are there Republicans in the Supreme Court? It's a non-partisan institution!

I'm glad you said it, and not me.

For the first time in history, we have a Supreme Court in which 5 justices are partisan. And they are all Republicans.

So much horse crap so little time.

Of course there is another possibility, he doesn't remember it because it never flipping happened. Since she had to under go therapy before she remembered it and such repressed memory therapy is about as reliable as a 400 yer old rusted solid match lock it is quite likely that what she remembers is about as real as lunar cheese mines.

We have overturned death row convictions based on new DNA evidence ...

Even after multiple witnesses have claimed that the defendant was guilty .

And nobody will corroborate what Ford is saying .....

Frankly, Golem, it's STUNNING that a hard right LIAR like this guy is now sitting on the high court.

But this is what can happen when a corrupt, depraved political party is in control in DC.

republican Honest Abe Lincoln must be spinning like a centrifuge in his grave at this point...

As revolutionary as this point might be, he did not necessarily lie. A lie has to be an untruth and the person must know it is not true. These are events which occurred thirty six years ago. There are not many details about life which I can remember from thirty six years ago. I cannot remember who attended parties with me or even what parties I went to. This is in spite of the fact that I did not go to that many parties.

I vaguely remember we had a house warming about thirty seven years ago. I don;'t remember who attended except one of my friends. I probably would not remember him except that he climbed down a steep bluff behind our house to a river. I had never done that and even after he did it, I did not attempt it. A couple of my bosses probably attended, but I can't remember for sure.

Delay the proceedings? What would that accomplish?

That makes no sense. When I have to go to the dentist for a routine checkup, I need to get psychologically prepared. If they call me saying "we have an opening in 2 days", I'll say no. Because I prepared myself for next week.

You can't just tell somebody who is afraid of flying that she will have to fly on a short notice to a hearing where she might get drilled about a sexual assault by 11 hostile men of a party that publicly declared that they would plow Kavanaugh into the Supreme Court no matter what she said. Have you ever seen the Anita Hill hearings?

So please don't be ridiculous! If you can quote a lie she told under oath, of the type that Kavanaugh told, then reading what you have to say is worth the time. Otherwise....

Of course you don't. And you don't really care if Kavanaugh lied under oath or not. As a matter of fact, the Trump cult doesn't care if he sexually assaulted a 15 year old or not. And this is why women who have any self-esteem are abandoning your party.

I know. And the war-cry in the Trump cult is that she's guilty of lying until she proves she's innocent. Despite the fact that he was the one who lied under oath.

She was right in all her fears. Se was sexually assaulted.... "Raped" by many definitions of the term.... But Republicans are not interested. They needed to fool their base into thinking it was not true, when it obviously was. And they had nothing to go with. So they pushed this absurd narrative about her not really being afraid of flying. Which is not only false but absolutely irrelevant. But they needed something... anything... to give their faithful ....something... even remotely resembling a talking point. And the Trump cult gobbled it up.

    Disgraceful!
