I'll make one last effort to take you seriously. Again: Where did you get the idea that people who are afraid of flying can't possibly fly? Explain it.. Show scientific studies, or expert opinions from professionals, or... any objective soource.... to justify this assumption. Because without that assumption, your whole argument is invalidated. People who are afraid of flying avoid flaying when they can. But that doesn't mean they don't fly. So listing the times she has flown toes not help your case at all.

You can also be taken seriously by admitting that there is no justification. Insisting on the point and not justifying it will only demonstrate that you are repeating a right-wingnut talking point without bothering to question it's validity.

It's nothing personal. But fact-based reason and logic are required in a serious debate. It's important for us to know with whom we can have a worthwhile debate, and who is only one notch above a Russian bot that just repeats propaganda..

1- An article from a reputed magazine in which your assertion is supported
2- An adequate connection. In which you acknowledge that, as we all know, people who are afraid of flying would avoid flying whenever they can. So they'll fly sometimes, but won't others. Depending on their anxiety level at that precise moment in time, and other factors.

I have never... never... refused to answer to a direct question related to a topic I am debating. Clearly and to the point . Therefore, my credibility is intact. Yours is in jeopardy. Answering clearly is not responding a question with another question. It's not eluding the question. It's just plain... answering it.

I have responded repeatedly. She is selective in her fear of flying. She was able to fly to a polygraph and other locations, but when it came to an important meeting with the senate, she was afraid of flying. It sounds suspiciously like she was helping the democrats delay the hearings. If you do not see a problem with that, then you have a problem.

Of course she is! That's how phobias work. You can fly when you have no choice. Or you can fly when there is a positive compensation at the end. You're terrified, but you do it anyway. But you would be completely unable when you are flying to be interrogated by 11 angry white men who are going to drill you about the worst episode of your life and accuse you of lying about it!
