Three men protesting the appearance of right-wing provocateur Gavin McInnes at an Upper East Side Republican club were busted in a brawl Friday evening, cops said.

As the audience left around 8:15 p.m., cops say three protesters began following a man leaving the building.

As he ran, he dropped his backpack, and when he tried to pick it up, a protester punched him and took his property, according to police.

Someone called the cops, and the trio — Finbarr Slonim, 20, and Caleb Perkins, 35, both of the Upper East Side, and Kai Russo, 20, from Bushwick — were arrested about 25 minutes later, cops said.

All three were charged with robbery and assault. Perkins was hit with an additional resisting arrest charge.​
