You said GDP would be 4%. It is not. Averages have nothing to do with it.
There are no estimates that show GDP growth sufficient to pay for the tax cuts in any reasonable period of time.

    Make it easy on yourself

If you cant afford to pay 90% of your income in taxes dont expect anyone else to pay that much either

Tax all welfare benefits. Force everyone to have skin in the game.

Give them a stub that shows what was taken out, just like a paycheck stub.

That doesn't sound at all feasible unless the contributions are far higher than social security and/or the benefits are time-limited.

This is an interesting snippet from a Politifact article:

Well spank me with a feather and call me Mary, the richest stand to gain and the poorest stand to lose.

At one time, the middle class as a group paid more of the taxes than the upper class. But when the middle started taking the hit as the rich saw more of the pie going upwards, they now are said to pay the majority of income taxes. I want the middle to be of a size and income level that warrant them paying the majority. As it once was. Before open borders slave labor globalism began to create a reversal of the gains made by the middle, using a different economic philosophy, which dictates what an economic model looks like. A model that yields a tax paying middle serves the People instead of the elites. I think this is a valid generalization.

I agree that open borders and free trade with china have really hurt the middle class

If I had a private enterprise and analyzed the sum total of taxes, hidden and open, and it came to 2/3 or more, I would have to consider shutting it down, not going to work in the morning, and doing whatever leisure, hobby, or traveling (within the USA, no travel in chaostan Europe) I wanted to do.

    But I'm not angry. :)
But actually the 90% rate went into the mid 60's.
But my favorite rate is 50% top bracket where income and GDP are the highest.
That would include a fair amount of your buddy Reagan.

As I told you my favorite rate is one that applies to every person equally with no deductions for anything or anyone

Sorry but the economic miracle is Obama's. Look at any chart. The only Trump miracle is managing a massive increase in the national debt in a time of general prosperity. North Korea is no safer in fact they now have deliverable nukes and missles capable of doing the delivery which they did not have before Trump.

And basically the renegotiated NAFTA is a name change with few significant changes. Wasn't a loss but certainly no major gain.

No its the facts, 80% of those tax cuts go to coorporations or the richest 20%

Trump can easily lower spending, pretending he doesnt have that power just make you look like an idiot.

Well, if we want the non rich to pay their fair share, of taxes, as the middle class once did, then our concerns should involve bringing back the high earning middle class, which does not allow too much of the income pie to concentrate at the top. If it concentrates at the top, then common sense says these people at the to will pay the majority of income tax, because that is where most of the money is going. ha ha But to say the rich are being sh*t on, because they are paying more of the tax bill, ignores why they are now doing that, from a historical perspective.

I would love to see the middle paying more of the taxes, because that would mean that they are once again healthy and the middle class is BIG and successful, by their work. I don't think enough see the big picture of what is involved here when it comes to who is paying the lion's share of taxes, and why that is.

That is false. We already pay up to 4 times per mile than the national average. They are irresponsible with the enormous amounts they already received. I do agree that is doesn't matter which party is in charge.

Consumers in the US spend more on healthcare services than the governments of countries with socialized medicine. See the difference.
