You should tell everyone that you have Medicare and does not want other people to have it.
    It is understandable.
So you wife would be simply uninsurable next time due to preexisting conditions.

Yep, that is why I am here, at least verbally not to allow you to steal the money from my pocket.

There's no need. My post is factually correct.

Disagreeing without saying why only supports the fact.

She kept her insurance for 5 years after.

    Your post is absurd.

No, they of course can not. A car is in no way comparable to land.

    Wow, what a precious snowflake.

Can you deign to answer this simple question, or will it hurt your soul?

Which individuals have the right to tell you and me, "Pay me, or leave, or I throw you in jail."

Do you understand what a high deductible health insurance policy is?

Single payer is a very good system for corrupt politicians and bureaucrats to exploit. It is a very bad system for patients. There are far better ways to provide healthcare.

"There has been a "sustained period of disinvestment, leaving a deficit in these services," Mortimer said. "This makes it harder to transfer care out into the community from hospital."

"The result of continuously declining services is an increase in the number of people coming into hospitals -- due to poorly resourced primary care -- and a decrease in people moving out. "It's both ends, really," he said.
Away from emergency room attendance, this also affects the ability to schedule routine surgeries and procedures as beds remain occupied. In 2013, the average wait for general surgery was 8½ weeks, Mortimer said, but in 2017, it was 9½ weeks. "

Preexisting conditions are insurable, if you have had continuous insurance, regardless if you (or your employer) switch carriers. Those that rolled the risk dice and lost, didn't bother with insurance previously, may have difficulty with preexisting condition coverage.

Okay, so no individuals have the right to tell you and me, "Pay me, or leave, or I throw you in jail." That's encouraging.

Nah, better to support the insurance industry and pay higher premiums.

No, they can’t. They can impound it, if used in the commission of a crime, but the can not just “take” your car, like with eminant domain and land.
