    Yes, "Trump: The Art of the Deal" does seem to explain that you don't give your opponent breathing room - you hit them when they are down, don't let them get back up until you get what you want from them. But Trump is a better negotiator than me.

    You do understand that these two statements are mutually exclusive, right?... On a second thought I don't think you do LOL

    PS Pelosi got a very reasonable, fair, viable offer and it's her constitutional responsibility to negotiate and seek a compromise that will satisfy the president. She owns the shutdown now.

    It didn't just 'pass his chamber'.... it was a unanimous voice vote...

    McConnell has said repeatedly he wouldn't bring a bill to the floor that didn't have presidential support.

    McConnell brought that bill to the floor.

    Trump had his mind changed for him.

    How hard can that be for people to understand?

    Good thinking, however, as usual the problem is religion.....if TSA starts running into personnel funding problems as the shut-down drags on then Muslims will have their opening to do more 9/11 type airliner attacks to get their #1 goal in life: to get 72 virgins to rape up in the invisible place in the sky.

    Yes, good point. Yes, Democrats are more concerned about simply defeating the "evil" Trump than they are about the security of their own families. Illegals taking their jobs?.....not a problem to Democrats, as long as Trump loses, apparently.

    So good in fact, all he's accomplished, AFAIK, through congress and law signing is, a tax cut.
    1 thing in 2 yrs.
    He has been good at the not giving breathing room, but so far no one has been out of breath.

    I assume, as long as public polls show tRUMP losing support, and he is, she won't budge on that requirement.
    But if polls start favoring tRUMP, who knows.

    Why stop the steady flow of (mostly) future Democratic voters? She's no fool. Southern Border crossers overwhelmingly vote Democratic when they are eventually given the right to vote.

    Trump 2020 slogan - "I did 1 thing every year - Look it up"

    Of course, like all things government, this Trump shutdown even affects that piece of legislation

    She just needs to add the money for the wall and the government will magically opens.... with the added bonus of the deal for the "dreamers" and tpp people. It's like Christmas comes in January unless she is the Grinch lol :D.... Like I said, she got an amazing offer, she owns the shutdown now.
