While I agree that tariffs are generally a bad thing (a tax, really)

I think Trump has been somewhat effective in using them, though we will need more time to evaluate this.

Absolutely. He's furious about economic freedom but can't explain why.

I'd argue its the marxist influence of the left.

Yes, and some of that gain is due to the reduction in safety inspections for our food, aircraft, and other devices or items we use or consume. Some Americans are doomed to pay the price for that neglect.

Can you share with us a couple of regulations which were eliminated, which make you now think our "food, aircraft, and other devices or items we use or consume" might be negatively effected?

Sure it does. What does this have to do with the fact that freedoms in the US have been on the decline ? Do I need to give you a list ? seriously ?

I live in California, so no you do not.

I see how bad it gets and can't believe people don't realize how precious it is.

Well there you go Dude :) ... I wasn't sure but I kind of thought we had covered this ground and were basically in agreement !!

Never mind California (although that is an excellent example). It is now our "Patriotic Duty" to give up essential liberty. I said at the outset that this was not about Trump (having occurred long long before carrot top hit the stage) but, Trump has done nothing to alter this fact.

Trump has done nothing to go after the plague Utilitarianism which allows for an end run around the founding principles and the constitution - and as you know - California is a prime example of this kind of "Tyranny of the Minority".

California should be a warning to the rest of the US. Sort of like a canary in a coal mine, for people smart enough to observe it. Instead we have politicians embracing the foolishness. Spend everyone else's money, sure, what could possible go wrong........

the discussion has been had. You trot out the same debunked bullshit every few days. It was refuted the very first time you tried to make that argument.

pointing out the argument you repeatedly parrot, has been repeatedly refuted isn't trolling.

My charts are perfectly clear, as well as the source they came from (which is an official government source by the way). they show the economy has been on the exact same steady upswing for 9 straight years. They show no change in trajectory after trump became president. So the premise of this thread, and most right wing economic arguments since trump was elected, are proven to be complete bullshit.

Are you denying the Democrats took back the Congress in January of 2007 and that FY2008 and FY2009 were Democrat budgets? You do realize it is the Congress that creates the budget, you know basic civics.

your argument was refuted the first time you made it. nobody has any obligation to keep repeatedly refuting an argument that has been proven wrong.

You dodged as usual because you can't refute the facts as usual.
