A green-card holder voted illegally 3 times in NC.
And this is news. . .why? It's news because it's so rare. One individual cast three votes. Did that change the outcome anywhere? This one single example is lame compared to the very real issue of Republicans in one county of NC literally stealing an election by illegally collecting unfinished write in ballots from voters and filling them out for Republican candidates before turning them in. If you want to discuss voter fraud, concentrate on where it really made a difference.

Well, she showed her green card to election official. She didn’t conceal the fact that she is a foreigner. I think the judge is right - election officials are to blame.

 

I have always heard that ignorance is no excuse under the law

But I agree that the election officials should be fired for incompetence

Unless they are elected like that old woman in florida

 

I'm sure the SDNY would indict him and his dog.

 

It doesn’t seem clear she knew it was illegal for her to vote – why would she present her Green Card when registering if she did? I’m not sure why the focus isn’t on the council member who advised her to vote and the system that allowed someone to register to vote despite presenting a document that explicitly identified them as ineligible. Maybe if you weren’t all obsessed playing party-based one-upmanship with these cases you could actually sort out your election system. Unless you don’t really want to sort it out, just ensure the fraud favours your preferred party.

As opposed the "LEGALLY" doing the same thing in CA. Its funny how its wrong to do the exact same thing in two different states but it benefits the GOP in NC so therefore it shouldn't be allowed.

So you don't know that ballot harvesting is supposedly legal in CA and is preformed in the exact same manor as to what happened in NC? Not only that, the harvesters only go to pick up democrats' ballots.

How in the bloody **** do you vote using a ****** GREEN CARD anyway? Nobody saw anything suspicious about that? I mean it says right on it "Permanent Resident" not "citizen" or "voter's card"

I'll lay money that she was semi-disabled mentally and the election judges were just trying to be cute, until some CONSERVATIVE saw this going on and started shouting "OMG, ELECTION FRAUD, THE REPUBLIC WILL FALL"

I was an election judge one year. Believe me, election fraud is nowhere NEAR as easy as most conservatives make out. But then again they DO have to explain why they lose so much.

 

If she walks into a democrat voting district and registers as a democrat its not hard to do

Yet more proof that conservatives make up their own reality. In this case one where facts change according to who tells them.

 

How do we know they are fraudulent immediately? What if it takes 6 months to correctly count the ballots? What if someone wins by 1 vote, but its not discovered for over a year that at least 2 ballots cast were fraudulent?

 

Now that depends, you can't do it on Wednesdays, that's when all we Dems Worship the Devil. We're a good Demon-fearing bunch here.
