Some people want to assign some additional definition onto the word proof that is not required. You want to pretend that proof means that something is undeniable or established fact, but that is not the definition of proof.

If he was in shock than how reliable is his claim? Anything that was said could easily have got twisted up and misinterpreted, which would make sense since Chicago isn't exactly MAGA central. So he either changed his story after the police interview or he suffered from shock and potentially jumbled up what his attackers said. It's not that unreasonable than to question his chain of events.

Actually yeah, it's important for those situations to line up becausing we're talking about two people who hated a man so much they some how knew where he would be staying, knew he would get hungry, waited in the freezing cold possibly while it even snowed at the same time, and recognized him in the dark. This had to be premeditated because the only alternative is two guys carrying rope and bleach randomly ran into him and knew who he was. And that's if everything happened the way he said it happened.

It begs believe that two men in masks carrying rope and bleach were just walking around a very upscale neighborhood.

 

100% of what we know as fact, is that he has injuries.

Everything else, we do not know to be facts.

It could be exactly as reported, or he could have passed out in a drug-induced stupor and fallen down some steps.

Of course it is, the police may have some contacts in groups associated with known MAGA groups or white extremist and having that information could lead them to the alleged attackers. There could be other attacks where the perps said the same thing. So why would he not tell the Police that key detail but he did tell TMZ. And yes it would be part of a hate crime charge.

When I first read this article I had a gut feeling that it was just another attention whore making **** up about a racist attack. A guy gets attacked by people wondering around in the wee hours of a cold morning with a rope and bleach looking for someone to attack and they just happen to find him and know him. He doesn't have any idea of the race of the people that attacked him as he claims they were wearing gloves and masks. The police have reviewed hundreds of hours of surveillance video and can't find any alleged attackers. This is one of the reasons so many people don't take the issue of racism seriously anymore. If they prove that something happened then maybe people will think about giving a **** but don't bet on it.

 

Scrawling "n*****" on his wall and chalking swastikas on his driveway had already been tried.
