Trump never called White Nationalists good people, but you already knew that.

I actually live near Charlottesville - do you? - and there are good and bad people on both sides of this issue. There are many Virginians and Southerners such as myself who despise the racism and slavery that the South fought for but recognize the need to remember that history precisely because we need to remember that people once fought to uphold that racism and slavery in this country and got over half a million Americans killed and half the country destroyed in the process. There are other lessons to be learned from the Civil War, such as the hypocrisy and extremism that made that conflagration possible in the first place. Is it really a good idea to forget about that and the consequences of compromising the principles we say we stand for? Those are the questions we are addressing in Virginia today, and Virginians are trying to address them matter in a calm, thoughtful and constructive manner.

You and everyone else on both sides of this issue who are throwing gasoline on that fire are contributing to the problem not the solution.

As long as we define "smarter" as having higher aptitudes

    for modern living.

On the other hand, who might have the higher aptitudes, smarter,

after an apocalypse regardless of being equally taught.

    Si?

    Oh and per the thread,
NO! A straight white male is PC discriminated against by the DNC !

Old white males have no place in the Democratic Party.

It’s time for new blood and bold thinking, like no airplanes in 12 years.

White male dominance lasted 200 years because they held the purse strings and were supported by the sexist myth that white men were smarter. :)

No, they've proved they're no smarter than anyone else.

They were blessed with control from the get go and just hung on for as long as they could....it's over.

It's just illogical, white men are no smarter than anyone else...

There is no white racism......it's just that the field of candidates ( the DEMOCRAT field) more and more represents ALL AMERICANS.:) That can be verrrry scary for some...:)

From this thread I'd say Republicans just like straight white males...no matter what "qualities " they have....The President being the most obvious example

Well, although the racial "wrongs" in this country were effectively and fairly dealt with by the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 -- DECADES ago -- one thing shows clearly in YOUR posts above -- that whether there really are "wrongs" in our time or not, you definitely approve of White people being treated like 'second-class citizens' for revenge and spite -- even though few people under the age of 60 have ever even seen racial discrimination practices of any REAL kind against "people-of-color"....

News Flash! The Civil War ENDED 153 years ago! But your faction can try to keep it alive -- and see how much good THAT does you in the long run....

Your post makes little sense. Perhaps better spacing and understanding how paragraphs work would help.

Well, considering that the 4 highest profile speculative Dem. Candidates (that have yet to announce) are Straight White Males (Biden, Bernie, Beto, Brown), time will tell.

You're still upset because Hillary lost? Sometimes a straight White male is the best candidate, sometimes not. It was certainly true in the last election.

Sorry. NOPE. Gonna stop you right there
Kiddo. Trump did NOT call any KKK members good people. Right before he mentioned good people he was condemning them. He called the good people those just that also happened to be there witnessing the event. You could have disagreed with the statue coming down and not been a KKK member or a racist. That was the BS CNN was pushing. Typical of the MSM to snip and clip the quote WITHOUT context. That’s your error. It’s why fake news is fake news.

If he runs, it's probably 70% Joe Biden gets the nomination as he's the one best primed to beat Trump (I think pretty much anybody could take him in 2020, but Joe would make it easier)... So I think that shoots your theory in the foot...

My grandmother could be running for the Dem nomination now... it's open lane time... we'll see who's still standing next Feb...

Smollett ring a bell? He just created a hate crime hoax against whites. That makes his a stone cold racist. Does Representative Ilhan Omar ring another bell? She just made anti-semitic remarks last week. That's just two. There are others and they are swiftly coming to represent what it now means to be a member of the Democratic Party.

I didn't say KKK, I said White Nationalists (KKK light). So what you just tried to spread was "fake" news. And you are ASSUMiNG that Trump was talking about people who just happened to be there witnessing the event - he never stated that, nor clarified his meaning.

    Absolutely.

Biden would be the toughest out for Trump.

Biden can absolutely win back PA, MI and WI.

    Is Smollett a DNC representative?
Omar is a moron, and she was chastised by her party for making the remark - so I would hardly call it a DNC platform plank.

    Got anything else?

Why bother? You have already made up your mind despite the Dem Party leadership having become blatantly anti-White and bigoted to the max over the years.

Frankly there are more than a few women I 'd cheerfully vote for. As it happens none of them are Democrats, the party of identify politics and hate since the country was founded. The only thing that ever changes with Democrats is the color of the wrapping paper that is currently in vogue.

    Big deal.

They no more "represent" the Dem Party than Neo-Nazis and Extreme Tea Party represents the GOP.

However, feel free to keep thinking that sort of BS if it makes you sleep better at night.:salute:
