No I don't. It has nothing to do with "weakness". Throughout history women were second class citizens who were routinely oppressed and abused by men. I guess that's the world you want to return to. Personally, I would support women killing everyone who thinks like you in order to defend themselves from such tyranny.
I disagree. Why were they "second class citizens?" Talk about encouraging women to take on unsuitable roles! They would lose.
Well one of use is supported by two separate scientific fields. The other has misogyny and faith. You can be wrong. Because men believed they were inferior. Hell, for most of human history they were property and barely even counted as people. Except they would be supported by a significant number of men (probably a majority) who also believe that women should be free. <Rule 6>
The last 40 years of research on PTSD and depression. There is a reason why suicidal thoughts and actions can be known side effects of drugs. The cause is physiological. It comes from one's brain chemistry. Because for most of human history weapons were based on the strength of the wielder. Men had weapons, men had power, and men used that power to oppress women. By all means, try to take away the freedoms of the women I love. I'll give you a 7.62mm counter-argument. When you are dying ******** yourself, we'd see who the "pyjama boy" is.
I wonder. Back in ancient Greece, most men were out killing each other in endless wars and the women were sitting at home. Why was mathematics and philosophy invented by Greek men and not Greek women? So you admit that men are better at this sort of thing. Sexist. And I admire your toxic masculinity which leads you to defend your womenfolk. Well done, there is hope for you yet!
Because women were forced to be in the home and were kept uneducated. Women who attempted to resist that misogyny were faced with abuse and repression, usually violently ending in injury or death. <Reply to Deleted>
Gad. This shouldn't even be a discussion. Liberals have nobody to blame for this full circle but themselves. I guess this is the kind of thing that happens when you're capable only of gaining acceptance from society's people nobody else wants.
I don't mind them coming out of the shadows if they don't thrust their sex lives in my face. I grew up in an ultraconservative southern town. Two lesbians ran the local camera shop. Nobody cared. The shop thrived because they stuck to business and kept their sex lives at home. My mother's hairdresser was also gay. He did very well. He hosted big parties and lots of straight people attended.
But there was very little to be educated about. Pythogoras and Socrates just invented mathematics any philosophy. They didn't study any books, there weren't any. Women had plenty of time to just sit and wonder about the world, but they didn't. <Reply to Deleted> <Reply to Deleted>
Relax. Those are just things you have to tell yourself so you can continue to hate. Nobody cares if they stay out of the closet. The issue is trying to force acceptance. I love watching women with athletic bodies play softball, especially the pitchers. They've always had every right straight people have. You're just wrong all the way around. Watching the infighting is very entertaining though.
Hateful bigots? Do you even know what that means? Do you know what abnormal means? Of course you do but it makes you feel better to attribute your own emotions on someone else.
How exactly do you know they didn't? What they couldn't do was write and read. We know for a fact that there were female philosophers because male philosophers wrote polemics against them. And they used the same kind of misogynistic arguments you would: "Women don't have the brains to be philosophers." "Women should be at home taking orders from men instead of engaging in philosophy." <Reply to Deleted> <Reply to Deleted>
Yes. Abnormal means deviating from the statistical norm. It is normal to not hate gays and to be a supporter of equal rights for gays. It is abnormal to be an anti-gay bigot.
Before the courts overruled the collective wisdom of the people homosexual behavour was illegal An gays were in the closet with all the other devients
Except as I showed in another thread, the majority of Americans already supported overturning sodomy laws and for gays to have equal rights when Lawrence v Texas happened. Even then, anti-gay bigotry and wanting to keep gays "in the closet" was an abnormal belief and supporting gays and their freedom was normal.
not true If it were so legislation would have been the obvious path chosen by the gays Instead they had to turn to the unelected demigods on the courts
Except state legislatures are usually controlled by the elderly vote which is more likely to be bigoted against gays. I showed you polling that demonstrated clearly that the majority of Americans supported repealing sodomy laws at the time. You are free to bring up any polling to counter it.
We dont decide laws by polling convicted felons, foreign tourists, illegal aliens and other assorted non voters We have elections
