Let's apply that same legal logic to what Hillary did.

Run with Dems, actually go for impeachment and your party dies more than it already is TODAY. Your party is the laughing stock of everyone that's not a partisan hack after today.

Let's stick to the topic at hand and save Hillary for another thread.

Reportedly, Trump said "they've appointed a special counsel? I'm ****ed!"

That, along with his numerous acts of obstruction of justice, sure sounds like an "innocent" man.

Of course -- why didn't I remember that! Yes, next they will advocate the government demand that a citizen must throw open his private tax returns to anybody who wants to see anything, for any reason, or for NO reason at all.

The best source for Democrats on how to do these kinds of things would be a first-rate 'investigator' from over 80 years ago, in Germany.... ROLAND FREISLER!

[IMG]. "You have a right to privacy?" WHY?!" :crossbones:

Yep, top-notch with all the requisite enthusiasm one might display at one's own autopsy. CNN writing its own obituary, live and on air; better than a New Orleans funeral. Happy days!

As by law, to insure no executive privilege needs to be invoked. Oh by they way they didn't.

    Have you even been indicted?
    no

This is not a game for me

I would rather debate real issues instead of wasting time on this bullshit

The conspiracy theory was because Trump wanted disrupt the ongoing investigation into apparent Russian meddling into the election and that there may have been collusion between Trump's campaign officials and the Russians.

In reality, Trump knew there was no collusion, he stated this from the start so it's as obvious as a puppy sitting beside a big pile of poo, he didn't fire Comey to disrupt collusion.

Comey was fired because he lied and his inability to navigate the FBI, he couldn't lead it.

And you refuse to read the whole thing in context, obviously.

Oh, sure. It doesn't matter that a non-governmental actor gets to preview the report. Except on this planet.

What did you "read" which leads you to that conclusion? The Family Circus? Mark Trail?

The Times article never mentions executive privilege in the article except in the headline.

Two of your links are for right wing trash blogs,so they don’t constitute evidence of your claim about the imaginary NDP, either.

At that point, I didn’t bother with the Rolling Stone link. You were already zero for three,

No.... he said “Russia thing”. It can be interpreted that way, but can also be interpreted as Comey not willing to admit publicly that Trump wasn’t a target.

Is that particular item going to convict Trump beyond a reasonable doubt? Nope.

I am serious. Obama was told what the Russians were doing. When he still was president he released a report on this. The gullible believe Trump worked with the Russians. Trump has been cleared. Get over it.

It's from the live video. Otherwise, there is this: https://www.cnn.com/politics/live-news/robert-mueller-report-public/index.html

Mueller: Congress still has ability to find the President obstructed justice
In special counsel Robert Mueller's report, the team writes that:

"With respect to whether the President can be found to have obstructed justice by exercising his powers under Article II of the Constitution, we concluded that Congress has the authority to prohibit a President's corrupt use of his authority in order to protect the integrity of the administration of justice."
