The quid pro quo being that Trump would get rid of them, which he has been trying to do since Jan 20, 2017. He is not enforcing them at all, and even cancelled the sanctions against the gangster Oleg Deripashka. He did that right around the time that Manafort got convicted.

You may also recall that they also tried to set up a secret back channel between the White House (which they did not yet occupy) and Russian intelligence, not once, but twice, before the Inauguration.

It's over, this was a homeroom for Trump and his campaign and all along those of us who kept saying "just show me the collusion and show me the obstruction" have been vindicated in that it was never there. The Dems and the MSM have egg all over their faces and they better stop with this nonsense else they are just cracking more of them. Not one single investigation has found any collusion, any conspiracy, anything. And there was absolutely no obstruction, Mueller was not interfered with, the investigation was not only not hampered it was fully cooperated with and no request for documents or testimony other than the direct questioning of the president was denied and all witnesses instructed to fully cooperate and there is no evidence they did not. Nothing like with Clinton and the immunity deals the lawyers representing other witnesses and counching testimony, no 5th amendment like with Obama's IRS. Not even a single claim or executive immunity even in the final report and all the testimony the President in fact could made a claim of executive privilege but choose not to in the interest of transparency. I can't remember a SC or IC investigation ever where the party being investigate cooperated more, in an unprecedented manner. Does everyone realize there was not one thing taken to court in this investigation. NOT ONE TIME did Mueller have to go to court to get information sought.

And yet as predicted, as expected the left/Dems/MSM will not give it up. Just amazing and how reprehensible.

 

None of the ten points were an obstruction of justice. There was no justice to obstruct, Trump knew he was innocent, no collusion occurred there was nothing to obstruct. The investigation was in no way obstructed and in fact there was unprecedented cooperation WITH IT. How many times did Mueller have to go to court to get information he sought? Hmmm how many times? How many subpoenas did he have to issue to get information he asked for? Hmmm how many times? Mueller acknowledges the cooperation his investigation received.

And BTW the Democrats said in the Clinton impeachment that not only obstruction of justice but even perjury did not warrant removal from office. So time to end the matter and get on with investigating how this even began and what laws were violated in the investigation.
