    People are coming here illegally from all over the world. They know they can get a free ride here no questions asked. Drugs are only a small part of the problem.

    In this thread we can see how the left acts on emotion rather than logic and rational thought. There is no logical or rational reason to support illegals - none. Even Obama, both Clintons, Reid, Pelosi and others have called them a scourge on the country until they needed their votes.

    You union types, do you remember how you complained that non union workers get a free ride off the efforts of unions? What's the difference with illegals who get a free ride off tax payers?

    And the best part is I see some libs on this board arguing the Constitution, yes, the same Constitution that has a 1st and 2nd Amendment which the left vigorously applies rules, restrictions, regulations and taxes on all while wanting just one rule for illegals: don't ship them to liberal cities.

    This was asked in the OP. And I stated, most everyone knows ER can't turn away legitimate cases.

    But nothing to do with the post or posters post I responded to.

    BTW - Besides the mostly useless wall, which will be nothing but an additional detour, what is the plans being put forth by either party to fix this immigration issue?

    And not some expensive mostly useless wall that will only detour the immigrants. But a real solution.

    Perhaps it was how your OP was structured and I focused on 1 part. Yes, it's more than ER.
    But I don't see either party doing anything on any of the issues you raised.
    And this isn't a new issue. It's over 40 yrs in the making.
    And in the over 40 yrs, neither party has done anything about it. Why? IMO, they don't see it as a big issue. Except politically.

    ERs are overwhelmed with illegals and many have already closed down as a result. People die playing the ER waiting game and here you are to tell them "too bad" At least you don't claim to care. I respect your honesty.

    I honestly hope that your position in the health care field is limited to clerical involvement. Empathy is, in my opinion, an essential quality in any health care professional providing medical treatment to patients.
