Nope, he won't even if re-elected, which is not likely.

I think the federal tax rates should be a lot lower than that. My view is that the federal government has no business doing 70% of what it does.
Why do you think so? He hasn't cut any spending at all.

You are ignoring that for several years prior to that, they were net losses. No profits. Companies get to carry that forward.

Warren Buffett, one of the wealthiest individuals in the world, has commented that his secretary — who makes a small fraction of what he earns in a year — pays much more as a percentage of that income in taxes. Many billionaires currently have an effective tax rate of around 8%.[/quote]

That is the difference between Capital Gains and Earned Income.

Internal ongoing training is imperative to ensure quality inspections. Today, Vic Carlile provided a 3 hour training session to our inspectors to make sure we are delivering the best possible services to our clients.

Even disregarding the types of taxes, the bottom 10% of income earners make over half of all income earned, yet only pay 30 percent of the total tax collected.

Like what? Roads? Fire departments? Police departments? What "public services" of mine do you think he would cut? I've just listed about everything.

But he has also HUGELY increased your cost for items affected by his tariffs. But no matter. You only care about public services.

The things you list are local. Welfare, public housing, college grants. Just cut HUD by 25%.

You said "I will vote for Trump because he will cut your public services."

So you think I'm on welfare, living in public housing, and am in college?

Your "tight wad" refusal to offer assistance to needy people is unAmerican. Most of us are not greedy, jealous people. Some who oppose welfare and public housing probably are.

How nice for you. Do you really think the entire population should live on your street or on one like yours with retired cops and firemen?

Why? I though one of the main praise points for capitalism is that the capitalist takes the risk so deserve the profits. Why should capitalist be able to recover losses on my taxpayer dollars?

People should pay taxes based on usage. Example: There should be a base amount in school tax for 0 to 1 child in school, those with 7 need to pay for 6.

Mayor Pete's latest Quinnepac > 5% ... tell me what kind of fluke it'll take to get him the DNC nomination. At least that'll be on topic. :;):

Letting them keep their own money is not giving them resources

Yes, thank you, Trump's victory was a fluke. And, yes, Pete has a road to walk to be the candidate.

Well they are both terms each with their own meaning under tax law. Did you have point?

By the way I earn interest on my savings account but I report it as unearned income for tax purposes. Go figger.

OK and everyone else's too. But that's a speculation we're not going to break down anytime soon, let's stick with the now and realty. Which areas cost more police and law enforcement wise, wealthy neighborhoods or poor crime ridden neighborhoods. Where are there more shootings to investigate? Where are there more murders to investigate? More robberies? More parole violations?

Who's not paying their fair share for police protection?

Higher taxes... on the wealthy, of course. They are not paying nearly as much as they should, and Trump has only made that worse. And that is on top of his spending our tax dollars like a drunken sailor.

If you really believed that kind of analysis, you would propose hitting low and middle class Americans with higher tax rates.

    And, that's just plain crazy.

In other words you believe we should just raise general tax rates across the board instead of addressing those specific legal tax strategies?

Yep, tax the crap out of the uber rich.

After WWII, the top marginal tax rate was 92%. Kennedy finally dropped it to 79% or so... you know, back when America was great. MAGA!

No, we could actually lower them.

The issue is the poor cannot pay
The middle class is paying all they can
And the rich pay others so they don’t have to pay what is owed
