    If you had ever been to filthy cities in third world countries and then to today’s Los Angeles you would know that we are not turning into any kind of third world city. Los Angeles is a first rate world class city.

    Gov't elected by the people. They don't have to leave, change the gov't. They get to vote. If they are so out of tune with others that their vote is not big enough, that is their problem for being out of touch. And if so out of touch that it bothers them, they should leave or get grass roots going to get their voices in gov't. That is the system we have in the USA.
    Small segments can't win elections. It takes a majority of people.

    The USA gov't doesn't care about ALL of it's citizens. Today, it panders to about 35% of the country.

    So, most Ca aren't saying they have no say, a minority are saying that. Else the most would be able to change the gov't.

    T.J. is also looking a lot better. Especially on the coast. Baja Malibu is pretty cool and what used to be a dumpy area down there is now called The Mexican Riveira from Tiajuana down past Ensenada. It’s really nice down there now.

    There are still some dumpy parts of LA but the urban renewal is in full swing and areas close to downtown are being developed for housing and business at a rapid rate.

    A guy like you will always look for something to whine and put people down about. You are really wrapped up in this whole Demikin vs Republicrat crap. Your life seems to be one long turd hunt. What’s up with that? You need to smoke a joint and relax champ. Everything is ok.

    So your point is, after growing up surrounded by piles of human poop and beach's with syringes you have become pretty much used to it, gotcha! I understand where you're coming from, same here in a way! We know not to leave food laying around that might attract a bear or two and maybe even a wolf!

    But even out here in the wilderness we are considerate enough and respectful enough to bury our shlt and if jacking a lil chiva is a thing we carry our rigs out with us when we leave the area ;)

    I have not grown up surrounded by piles of poop or dirty needles champ. I am sure they are out there somewhere but I have not encountered them. I have lived in many areas in LA. If I did see that kind of crap in close proximity to where I lived I would clean it up and make sure that those who were creating it would stop.

    There are several groups addressing this homeless issue right now. My new Congresswoman Katy Hill was an advocate for homeless people before she ran for office. Hopefully, people working with private charities, churches and government agencies will reverse this trend soon.
