All confederate generals were democrats. every single one.

 

Not really all ... some were not but put their duty for their state higher as that of the Union.

Ever read about the exploits of Robert E Lee during the Mexican-American War ?

Lee also hunted down Comanches in Texas.

But the Texas Rangers seemed to have been better at hunting down and killing Comanches and Mexicans.

Robert E Lee being an engineer built a whole crap of stuff especially forts along the Atlantic seaboard.

Robert E Lee's nephew, Fitzhugh Lee was also an American war hero.
Fitzhugh was a war hero and killed a lot of Comanches.
Fitzhugh Lee was also a Confederate war hero.
Fitzgerald Lee was also a Brig. General in the U.S. Army during the Spanish-American War.
