What statistics (link) do you base that claim on?

 

In other words, you fully admit this decision was entirely political and not based on the constitution.

That's backed up in part by the justices of the court stating in writing that their decision could NOT be used as a basis for future decisions - as SC decisions almost always are.

Even THEY agreed that it was purely a matter of preference in that one election.

 

Just a census update while you guys debate the SCOTUS...

The self-imposed deadline for submitting the forms for printing is tomorrow.... not sure what time of day tomorrow

That is quite the range of possible "deadline" dates?? End of June or End of October?? What's up with that??

 

We’ve been over that. Judges have no mechanism to create law. No law was created by RvW. A law was struck down as unconstitutional.

 

Here's my suggested compromise... should make everybody happy.

Submit the forms without the citizenship question, but next spring, when the forms are sent out, have Trump ask everybody via twitter to just write 'citizen' or 'non-citizen' next to each name on the form.... Trump will then have Eric go through each form by hand and keep a tally.

The CITIZENSHIP QUESTION WILL NOT BE ON THE 2020 census form.

 

This census WILL be affected by the hate and legal movements against Hispanics combined with the general concern about government workers knocking on the door and asking about who lives there.
