I doubt it's genetic. It is taught, learned, absorbed through culture. It can be changed. But it takes generations.
Who in the hell likes wearing shoes? Reagan loved monkeys why if it wasn't for Bonzo Reagan would have been governor a decade earlier after his ouster from Hollywood.
Who actually cares what party someone was, is, or never was? Racism isn't exclusive to a single party. It is ingrained into USA history. Perhaps into world history. But as the world becomes smaller and smaller, we have to interact with people of all nations and all colors. I really doubt, skin color has much of a factor in how a human behaves or believes. It's cultural. There is only 1 race, the HUMAN race. With thousands of cultures and ethnics.
Another one with a low view of America. Because some of the Founders had slaves does not make the founding documents racist. America is one of the least racist nations, despite what the race hustlers tell you. I was sitting on a plane earlier this month with a man who left Vietnam when the Communists took over. He told me about that famous photo of the VC soldier being executed during the Tet Offensive. The VC who was executed had just killed a family of seven, the only survivor was a small boy who later came to the US and recently became I believe either a US Naval Captain or Admiral. The Vietnamese man told me that would have have happened in France, where some Vietnamese went.
I agree with you but history is history, and history teaches us the Democratic conservatives migrated into the southern GOP in the decades from the sixties to the eighties. They took their racism with them and will not be allowed to revise their shameful history. Our racism is shameful, period, not excused by any other country's racism.
Why do you have to lie about what you think are other people's opinions? Where did I mention anything about founding documents? NOTE: I did not. The documents don't reflect the reality of that time. For it does say all men are created equal..., but obviously, owning other people isn't treating others as equal.
this is just part of history that was unknown, now we know and can add it to the history books, that is why it is news
Of course it has, does, and will. It begins with Mom pointing and saying, "Nice people don't do that."
The same could be said for about every country on this planet. Some countries are still very much racist.
The OP seems to be an attempt to malign a party based on a private conversation Racism isn't exclusive to a single party. It is ingrained into USA history. Perhaps into world history. Are you familiar with Robert E. Howard and his concept of "tribal memory"? It is mentioned in what was quoted in your upload.
Sooner or later I will locate the audio of President Johnson making his racist remarks as to how he would cause the N to vote for Democrats for the next 200 years. Did LBJ Say, ‘I’ll have those n*ggers voting Democratic for 200 years’? https://www.intellectualtakeout.org...have-those-nggers-voting-democratic-200-years
What voting record? Did you become persuaded that LBJ was a racist? For all the yelling by Democrats, they are the authors of racism.
