Trump has created a multi-billion dollar welfare program for America's farmers deprived of their livelihoods by his trade war, but it will not be nearly enough to undo the damage he has done.

    Trump doesn't care.

Trump is an Unqualified MORON (who has ZERO concept of "Trade").

Ghe pathetic IMBECILE doesn't understand any sort of business relationship where you can't go bankrupt, stiff people, and pay back 10 cents on the dollar.

This is his war, the one in he should have used 'bone spurs' as a pretext for avoidance.

The US Chamber of Commerce is also speaking out about his trade war and its impact on US businesses. You can read their statement here. Here is part of their statement:

The statement includes a map showing impact by State ranging from 'Significant Damage' to 'Extremely Significant Damage'.

If anyone knows about the impact of trade it's the American Farm Bureau Federation, the National Farmers' Union and the US Chamber of Commerce. If tariffs worked they would support them. But they don't work and are getting no support from organizations whose members would benefit.

Trump is doing serious damage to the US economy.

The farmers, of course, are terrified at what Trump is doing.

Excellent source. Traditionally conservative, the Chamber of Commerce is clearly appalled by the irresponsible ravages of Trumpery, and the toll is being inflicted upon states that invited it as well as those who sought to avoid it:

Trump is simply hurting the economy.

GDP could be over 3 instead of 2

Demo-commie globalists don't give a sh!t about US agriculture ... never did, never will. The only way (R)'s could force agriculture subsidies down (D)'s throats was to tie them to food stamp entitlements. (D)'s demonize US ag for using the cheap foreign labores the DNC entices with promises of sanctuary and entitlements. Ironocally ... to do the jobs that American DNC entitlements addicts won't do ... so instead collect the food stamps tied to agricultural subsidies. It's always one irrational rationalization after another. "Well" educated (D) voters? That's a really exclusive demographic in the DNC.

Trump's tariffs are hurting America and the farm states significantly.

All of the raging about other things means nothing. Trump is hurting American with his tariffs.

As the self-proclaimed "King of Debt" drives the nation deeper into the hole, his fake claim that "Trade wars are good, and easy to win!" is causing many a conservative Republican to regret the Party's being perverted by a buffoon.

Jake, I own farms and I own an manufacturing business that sells to farmers. Trust me when I tell you, China buying beans is great and all but there more worried about Wall Street gaming the futures prices. Now if long term this deal doesn't work maybe that changes but all the rain this year is what's got them worried my friend. This is just dems trying to buy a vote, but let's see what would you guys do with China, oh yea drop everything bend over and get us right back in the same situation we were before. China manipulates our ag markets and causes major pricing unrest, we don't want that again.

What you own is immaterial if you think tariffs are good for America.

To deny the tariff damages is simply trying to save Trump votes.

Not even Trump's multi-billion dollar welfare program to offset the damage he is inflicting will be enough.

Trump bum kissers can osculate until the cows come home. American farmers and the Chamber of Commerce don't care.

I'm not getting into an argument with someone who can't admit the underlying issues and what we're trying to do. I guy solar panels from China, I know the damn cost and risk and have farms. I know exactly the risk reward scenario, you know the talking points so carry on.

I am not getting into an argument with someone who does not get the economic factors of tariffs.

I trust the Farm Bureau and the Chamber of Commerce

Don't you just love it when non-American farmers tell us real American Farmers what they think. Priceless.

Again, I live the tariffs do you? It hasn't hurt America nor farmers near as much as what China does annually. Their economy is crashing, and America is finally standing up to their global economic dominance goals, we are at war and you just want to keep buying your Special K cereal cheap, we get it.

Our Farm Bureau is American. Our Chamber of Commerce is American.

Always believe the FB and the CoC over naysayers, then ask what they naysayers are really after.

When someone is arguing against the factors of context, something is up.

Ahhh inspire of Barrow's dire "soy beans are rotting in bins" lie

Massive gamble on soy hoarding pays off for America’s farmers
In the grips of the demand-killing U.S.-China trade war, American farmers took an unprecedented gamble last year and stored huge amounts of soybeans after the harvest, hoping they’d eventually find better prices.

    The bet paid off.

Matt Gast stashed three-quarters of his crop — way more than ever before. Most years, he stored maybe 15%, but selling last season, would’ve meant accepting loss-making prices while the biggest customer was out of the market. So he hoarded those beans in silos and bins on his North Dakota farm.

A short rally earlier this year meant he was able to lock in prices at about $9.50 a bushel, roughly 70 cents higher than he would have gotten at harvest time — certainly not a killing, but better than rock bottom. The beans are coming out of storage this month and finally moving for delivery.

“It was definitely worth keeping them,” Gast said.........
    https://www.detroitnews.com/story/business/2019/07/12/farmers-gamble-soybean-hoarding/39682519/

And China has no where to go to replace US soy beans.

I'm curious--Are you in a better position than those whose income comes solely from a family farm?
How is the "currency manipulation" going to affect you and/or the small farmers?
