He will be impeached (a move I oppose), but will not removed from office.

6 months ago I would have said not a chance Trump will get impeached

Today I honestly dont know, it seems the Democrats in the House will Impeach Trump for breathing the wrong way
scratching his nuts near the media etc

While the chances of Trump being impeached is likely with today's Democrats House of Reps, conviction by the Senate.. Not a chance

This is just political mind games

Depends on the conservative Democrats in the House. If their constituents do not support impeachment, they are unlikely to sacrifice their seats.

This is the equivalent of the Benghazi Investigations- a little something there but too much theatre by BOTH sides.

The bigger issue for me is that the Congress start taking back the power given to the Executive Branch after 9/11. They need to start balancing the power of the president through oversight once again. In that, the investigation might have merit.

Impeached yes, convicted no. The ultimate jury will then decide at the ballot box.

He WILL be Impeached...and I (I rarely do this) predict he will resign a la Nixon when it becomes apparent that the Senate will convict

No. He is draining the swamp. Many are about to be exposed and that is why we have this frenzy to impeach. No other reason than that.

Maybe they could start with repealing the patriot act and eliminating DHS?

He will be impeached and then he will be forced to resign by the GOP

He will be impeached, a move I now support and 40 - 50 self-proclaimed moderate democrats representing swing/republican congressional districts will be removed from office.

He may be impeached, but he won't be removed by the Senate. But hey, drinks on me if I'm wrong.

I'd rather rely on standards and reason. He is the swamp.

Then why is they trying to impeach him? Because he stands in the way of their agenda. He is doing it for you too. Wake up.

The Trump followers modes operandi is simple: deny, dismiss, divert, deceive, and attack. How this will play out is far from certain.

I thought there was a small chance that the house indicted him, but now with both Tulsi and Yang both calling for the inquiry, I think the house will eventually indict him, I originally thought that McCaskill would not even let the senate hear it but now, I thin the senate will hear it and vote to acquit. I think the dems want to run against senators that vote not to censure him.
