Trump's top European advisor who resigned last night has confirmed Ukraine was told aid was dependent on dirt on Biden and his son.
This confirms testimony from Bill Taylor the Ukraine ambassador.
    ...
A White House adviser on Thursday corroborated key impeachment testimony from a senior U.S. diplomat who said last week he was alarmed by efforts to pressure the Ukrainian government to investigate President Trump’s political rivals in exchange for nearly $400 million in military aid.

Tim Morrison, the top Russia and Europe adviser on President Trump’s National Security Council, told House investigators over eight hours of closed-door testimony that the “substance” of his conversations recalled by William B. Taylor Jr., the acting ambassador to Ukraine, was “accurate,” according to his prepared remarks and people familiar with Morrison’s testimony.

In particular, Morrison verified that Trump’s envoy to the European Union, Gordon Sondland, conveyed to a Ukrainian official that the military aid would be released if the country investigated an energy firm linked to the son of former vice president Joe Biden. Morrison, who announced his resignation the night before his testimony, said he did not necessarily view the president’s demands as improper or illegal, but rather problematic for U.S. policy in supporting an ally in the region.

His testimony is significant given his proximity to decision-making in the White House and his status as a Trump political appointee rather than one of several career officials who in recent weeks have offered critical testimonies of Trump’s Ukraine policy. Democrats hope Morrison’s testimony will take away an often-cited Republican complaint that many of the accounts from U.S. officials describing a quid pro quo are secondhand.

The House will impeach, the Senate will laugh.

We will all find out in November 2020

“I want to be clear, I was not concerned that anything illegal was discussed,” former NSC Senior Director for European Affairs Tim Morrison testified today

Morrison testified that Ukrainian officials were not even aware that certain military funding had been delayed by the Trump administration

Morrison also pointed out key factual inaccuracies in testimony provided by William Taylor, a State Department official who works in the U.S. embassy in Kiev, Ukraine. Morrison said that, contrary to Taylor’s claims, Morrison never met with the Ukrainian National Security advisor in his private hotel room...

What next? The House will impeach Trump which will leave indelible impression on his resume. The Senate will watch public opinion polls to provide direction. If something horribly egregious emerges at the hearings, the whole picture could change, especially if there is significant public outcry. Possible? Absolutely.

The Democrats will conduct the hearings in a professional manner - no raised voices, no attacks, just the facts please. The GOP has some real loudmouths on their side that won't be reined in. It will be continuous attacks aimed at the witnesses. It will backfire badly with the public. This is observations of past behavior.

Bob Livingston and Giulani being paid by Russia to undermine anti-corruption efforts in Ukraine. There is so much money involved.

Bolton is going to testify next week.. This is a real mess... and its been going on two months before there was any work begun on the Steele Dossier.

Robert Livingston, the former Republican congressman turned lobbyist, repeatedly told a foreign service officer assigned to the White House that the American ambassador to Ukraine should be fired...

    No that doesn’t discredit anything.
Witness after witness is telling the same basic story: that Trump withheld aid to Ukraine and he didn’t plan to release it unless a senior Ukrainian government official publicly announced that they were starting a criminal investigation into the Bidens.
Some people thought there was something wrong with that. Others didn’t.

But the underlying facts are being confirmed over and over.

Yeah I heard he said it was in the coffee shop or something. But they met. I don't think anyone said they were sleeping together. :)

Morisson did say no crimes were committed. He on the other hand didn't mention the Bidens. YOU made it up. Again.

This is true but as a Republican Senators id expect the numbers to go in favor of impeachment duribg the house portion of this given the skewed rules in Democrats favor. Id also expect the Media to try and embellish this and to fear monger me into caving. Once i get my turn the polling numbers will even out.

"The Democrats will conduct the hearings in a professional manner - no raised voices, no attacks, just the facts please. The GOP has some real loudmouths on their side that won't be reined in. It will be continuous attacks aimed at the witnesses"

until we get to the Senate where the shoe goes on the other foot for Democrats. In the house they have the power so no doubt they wont be the agitated ones but they will in the Senate no doubt.

On Monday, the White House's former Russia and Eurasia adviser, Fiona Hill, reportedly testified before Congress that Giuliani was running a "shadow foreign policy" in Ukraine that circumvented the official channels tasked with promoting American interests. The most likely explanation for this is that Giuliani and his boss had no interest in American interests. (Last week, we learned the U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine was likely shoved out because she wasn't cooperating with Giuliani's chicanery over there.) Among other things, Giuliani and Gordon Sondland—the ambassador to the European Union who, thanks to some texts presented to Congress, we now know was at the center of the shakedown efforts—pressed the Ukrainians to issue a public statement specifically announcing the "investigations" into Biden and 2016. This would have been seized on immediately by Trump and his allies as primo ratfucking material.

And if he did withhold military aid if Burisma corruption wasn't investigated?

You realize that that could only lead to an investigation of JOE Biden if, in fact, he committed some criminal act.

    Or do you?
