Why do so many on the left hate success?

Take the average self-made millionaire (which are most of the millionaires out there). They take risks, sacrifice marriages, work on w/e's, late nights and go through periods of turmoil as risk doesn't always pay off. After years of hard work, they make it big, their businesses take off and grow, they employ people, innovate, produce and add to the economy. Yes, they become millionaires along the journey. These people are HATED by many on the left.

Now take the average middle to lower class person. Many are just downright lazy or/and decide to be risk averse, some don't even finish college (life has too many thrills to offer these who consider an education a waste of time). These folks either find a steady job that pays a decent salary (say 60k-120k) or jump from job to job, struggling to stay ahead of the competition. Some just give up and decide to live off others, some find temp jobs and some just float around, doing whatever they need to do to make living, some even turn to crime. These are LOVED by many on the left. It's become so disgusting that the left is even supportive of murderers, rapists and violent criminals; yes, Bernie wants to let them vote! Imagine! and oh yea, many defend drug dealers and find terms like 'super predator' offensive.

The great lengths many on the left go to demonize the successful and defend the rest, even despicable criminals, is a dire signal, something really bad is coming.

Take a person named John. John can take two paths, be lazy, get in trouble with the law, be a junkie, maybe get a job paying minimum wage. Another path John can take is actually take school seriously, lay off the drugs, work hard, take risks (not just settle for a salary), create a business, fight through adversity, employ people, produce goods and add to the economy. It's the same John but the first path gets him the love and respect of the left, the second path? hate and disrespect.

I tell you, this Country is going to HEL L if we don't stop the radical left and it needs to happen NOW.

over 80% of millionaires are self-made, look it up.... i know it's hard to look up facts in the age of misinformation campaigns and an untrustworthy media but that's right, most millionaires are self-made and they are the best this COUntry has to offer, whether you like it or not and as harsh as that may sound.

 

Doesn't matter, you can give most people a million dollars and they will be broke again in year, Trump managed to build on it!

 

Most self-made billionaires, like Bill Gates, George Soros, Warren Buffet, ... and many others, understand that they have an obligation to the society that made them rich. The right hates them for this. They feel they don't show solidarity with those who need tax breaks and sleazy deals to keep their fortune.

 

the right doesn't hate working class, garbage and weak response. You hear them attack middle class 24/7? the left, meanwhile, can't stop demonizing rich people, it's pervasive.

btw, the rich are not in control of congress. Why aren't the democrats in the house changing the tax laws? or doing anything about immigration? or healthcare? oh wait, they are too busy with witch hunt after witch hunt. What a disgrace...

Go ahead and raise taxes on the rich, but do it fairly... get rid of loopholes, make it more progressive but WHY ARE THEY NOT DOING IT???? Democrats control the house, are they also OWNED by the very same billionaires they attack?

Bill Gates made his money by providing a product that the whole world now uses daily, whereas Soros and Buffet were just wall street investors.

That's because too much merchandise sold in the U.S. says "Made in China" and China has very little burdensome regulations and pays their workers peanuts.

 

Well, that's certainly a black and white world you live in. How would you feel about a Holiday inn chamber maid that works a hard 40-50 hour week with no letup. She isn't very bright, probably on left on the I.Q. distribution, but she works along with her husband to help send her two kids to college. She's in favor of a living wage but never sees one.

Then there are millionaires that made the money on brains, stamina, and honest labor. Bill Gates and Warren Buffet come to mind. Bill's got way more money than Trump but I like the guy - a lot. Then there are guys like Trump. These are the charlatans that plot and scheme and get to top by screwing everyone they come in contact with. Their mission is power and bragging rights at the country club.

So, here's three different stories. Which do you admire? Personally, I know my choice. You're entitled to yours. For point of reference, I'm a very average guy, but my family fairly drips with millionaires. I don't have a problem with that and I'm not jealous of anyone. But when income and wealth disparity reaches the heights it has in America, I sound alarm bells because this is a sure sign of a country going to hell.

 

Between 2010 and 2015 Chinese billionaires bought 0ver $300 Billion of Real Estate property in the USA.They have also acquired many well known U.S.businesses like General Electric Appliances,the Chicago Stock Exchange,Smithfield Foods,the Waldorf Astoria Hotel,Strategic Hotel Chain which owns hotels throughout the USA,Riot Games,Ingram Micro,Motorolo Mobility,AMC Movie Theater Chain,Legendary Entertainment Group and lots of other lesser known U.S.businesses.

But, to answer your question, yes. Some Democrats (same as all Republicans) are owned by the donor class. It's up to the people to demand that this stops. But most Republicans aren't helping.

No it isn't black and white, you didn't read when i clearly stated 'some' are the lazy, drug junkie class which means i do make room for those who may work hard but are risk averse or/and lack talent. So the maid you speak of is not a millionaire due to her own inadequacies - lack of IQ, is risk averse (cause working as maid is a very risk averse job, or any stable 40-60k salaries jobs), lack of talent etc.. Now that is fine, she should be respected but the issue i have is when this maid takes to the streets to protest the self made millionaires.. but worse are the politicians that try to convince her that she's a maid because the millionaires forced it upon her.

Most millionaires are self made, (roughly 85-90% of them). Trump didn't start a billionaire, so he grew his empire and through hard work. It is obviously convenient for you to accept the largely debunked lies from the left that Trump is just some lazy bum who inherited billions. Maybe you should actually study his life and look at facts. Trump has been an extremely hard worker and grew his empire and he took many risks along the way. The fact that he almost went bankrupt is evidence of his risk taking, otherwise he would've just kept his few millions in a savings account and earned a safe interest. Trump is no lazy bum that just inherited a few million and did nothing with it. Yes, there are some millionaires that are lazy bums and just waste money and do nothing... even lose it all spending and not producing, TRUMP HAS NEVER BEEN ONE OF THESE, FACT. But back to my factual position - most millionaires are self made and many, like Trump, hard workers who take risks.. a very few minority are the filth who just inherit $$ and waste it, doing nothing productive. Maybe you should start paying attention to facts.

maybe politicians need to start doing their job? hey, tell me something. The house is controlled by democrats, why are they not changing tax laws? or passing any legislation? They can at least start passing new legislation, let senate take heat for not doing anything.

Also know this, something people rarely speak of. In the US, the lower class' median income is 25k a year. You know what the avg Chinese makes? around 10k-15k USD a year. The average person in Brazil? roughly $10k a year.

What is interesting is that the poor in the Unites States are pretty well off when compared to many across the world, it's just that there are many billionaires and millionaires in the US, that's because the US is a very wealthy Country. The poor people here are rich compared to the even middle class in many Countries, it's just that they can't stand that there are so many really rich people at the top.

Well, i'm all for changes in tax system, fair changes but hey, why aren't democrats putting through any legislation? oh... too busy with the witch hunts!

Small point of order, Moscow Mitch has over a hundred Democrat bills on his desk, some relating to a minimum wage and health care, etc. He won't bring them up for a vote. He won't even acknowledge their existence. They die on Mitch's desk. Just like he wants.

 

You do understand that laws have to pass both the House and Senate, right?
