Premise - So many on the left hate Success.

Justification of claim - many on the Left hate folks that worked hard and became a millionaire (repetition of premise)

You then talk about middle class - "Loved by the Left" - OK but that does not support your premise.

All you have done is repeat your premise twice - Where is your argument ?

Success is evidence of inequality to the left.

If there was no injustice, everyone would be at the same level you see.

Everyone else has to sit by and pretend we can't see the difference.

He doesn't live in Atlanta. Up east they tend to support stupid things like rent control which in real terms means no new appartments this century.

He says he's paying 2200 for not much more sf it would be closer to fourk. One of the reasons SF has such a huge homeless pop.

I am by no means knowledgeable about the R/E market in Atlanta, but my gut tells me they have overbuilt and it will be a long time renting up.

Which means rent will either fall or buildings will get bull dozed. Be or some combination. That's normal.

    1) Your first mistake is to assume that liberals "hate" success. I can't speak for everyone, but this liberal does not hate anyone who has been successful through good old hard work. I, however, do not like people who were born on third base and then pretend they hit a home run based on skill.

    2) The second mistake is to define success as being rich. In my view, there are many ways to be successful, other than making tons of money. If you achieve your goals in life, you are successful. Someone else brought up the example of the hotel maid, who works long hours on minimum wage to put her children through college. To me, that person is more successful than someone who uses daddy's money as the position of strength to stiff contractors and workers, to then enrich himself.

Data from a survey? LOL! Do you REALLY think that millionaires will self report in a survey of having gotten a leg up through inheritance? Have you ever heard of the psychological phenomenon called the self serving bias? It means that people tend to attribute their success to their own skill and hard work, while attributing failures to externalities.

In reality, the easiest way to become wealthy is the old-fashioned way: By inheriting it.

Only if we let them. You wouldn't know it but they are a minority, a minority with big mouths but they are all talk. They've had fifty plus years to create their worker's paradise, they failed. Even their god Obama couldn't get the job done, if anything he became the poster child for all that is wrong with the Marxist left. Could the Democrat party look anymore ridiculous than they do know? They've been talking impeachment since election night 2016, they've never really had anything on Trump so they make stuff up. Apparently they think the electorate is a bunch of grade school kids.Trump has crushed them on every issue since he took office and has improved the quality of life for all Americans. Trump has stated the obvious that the MSM has been silent on and that is, that the Democrats have led America down a drunken path. I can not think of a single thing the Democrats have done in fifty years that benefitted America. At the heart of their war against America is social engineering. They have destroyed the family, they have exploited minorities, they have used "diversity" as a means to divide not unite, they have politicized public education to the point where no subject is taught without a leftist slant. The dumbing down of American students has been a deliberate ploy to create mindless zombies who can quote Marx but know nothing about the founding fathers except that they were slave owners. We are sending kids to college with the skills of children in grammar school, 19% of all American high school students are illiterate. Recently Common Core has been exposed for the junk that it is. The left/Democrats have promoted perverse lifestyles out of which they have created protected groups which is just another way of promoting them. It simply flies in the face of science to declare that there's more than two genders and ridiculous that this has generated hundreds of new protected groups who demand equally ridiculous privileges. The left during times of political uncertainties (which they created) began this campaign of creating the upside down culture that the sane among us abhor. Their biggest victory was the legalization of genocide and let's call a spade a spade, abortion is murder and in the numbers we've witnessed, genocide. This is going to change, you can bank on that. There isn't enough room on the entire internet to enumerate their perverse practices but the most egregious acts of the Democrats in the last five decades is how they've chipped away at the Constitution. This document is what makes America, America but they have no use for it except when it benefits them. The reality is that they would love to tear it down and write their own charter, they know that'll never happen but they've done an awful lot of damage to it. The hundreds of times they've have attempted to alter it generated as many protests that would tie up the SCOTUS and lower courts for decades. That's their game, not just with the Constitution but in all of their machinations and manipulations. Pick any contentious subject in American politics today and ask yourself just one question, how does this benefit America? Sometimes it's hard to see it but we are winning, good always prevails over evil.

It has nothing to do with anger it's about clarity something you folks seem to lack. What's going on, has been going on since the 60s in plain sight and has become so ridiculous it's beyond denial. The game is over.

The Senate is irrelevant to passing laws? Wow! Just curious: were you home-schooled by any chance?

The House has done quite a bit in the 10 months that Democrats have been in charge.

The list at the end of this article in your world would be called "laws".

    https://www.vox.com/2019/5/24/18637163/trump-pelosi-democrats-bills-congress

Note that this list is from May... so this is just a partial list. There's probably an updated list out there somewhere. But I don't think it's worth taking the time to look for it for you. You would first need to learn how the Legislative process works.

You're the only one I see attacking investors. But now I get it: you just don't understand how investment works. Pretty much like you don't understand what left-wingers have a "problems with". It's not a bad thing to not know. But it make people look foolish when they post about things they don't know anything about.

This is something I agree with. Because the government is now so intent in protecting millionaires and shifting the burden of maintaining the government to the middle class and blocking every effort to reduce the income gap that it has made it almost impossible for the middle class to climb, and even very difficult to not fall into poverty.

The only way to fix this now would with a filibuster-proof Democratic control of Congress and the Presidency at a time when they won't be too busy pulling us out of another Republican financial crisis. They will likely try to block progress using the court system, but that will probably be more difficult for them.

Trump might be just the one to make this possible.
